New Lodge Care Home

This place is amazing, the grounds are well thought out and clean. Not been inside just dropped someone off there.

I have lived in the village of new earswick for 48 years and only recently have I had to have dealings with the management at new lodge I have found them to be eletist confrontational and at times derogative I can now add to this some staff are untrustworthy and abusive would not board my dog here

left my grandmother to pass out of dehydration during the heatwave then won't take her back, and didn't even bother to tell us that themselves rather a hospital worker told us, shut this place down xoxo

My mum had to move here from Red Lodge when they decided to knock it down and build Rowntree Lodge. she is in the sheltered accommodation which is lovely but far too high tech for the majority of the residents there. my mum does not even use a mobile phone and the apartment is far beyond her comprehension, she gets really upset as she cannot even open the door to us using the intercom, she has to physically come down to let us in; it is difficult to use, the manager tried to show us how it worked but failed. family has one spare key and fob for entry but if we need more, we were told they would be provided free, but then told they would be £40 each. she has friends there so reluctant to move.

Very nice and modern

The home is designed to cater for the aged. The services are topnotch while the staff are highly professional in their duties. The hygiene rating is also great
