Sausage rolls are absolutely disgusting. Dry and burnt, we just bought 6 and every single one of them was rock hard and burnt in the middle. Only good thing was the knot donuts.Disappointing to say the least as we bought lunch for family today.

I went into The Indulgent Baker for the first time today and treated myself to a Bath Bun. It was utterly delicious! The other offerings looked great too, and the lady who served me was friendly and welcoming. I'll be back.

Not impressed at all. Order 4 cheeses and onion pastries got 1 and 4 meat went straight back in and the lady behind the till was very rude in front if my children. Made to feel it ws my fault. We Definitely will not be returning.

The food was good however the woman their was a bit rude to us when we asked her what is in the pasty"? She said " I already told you"! The she started listing everything in it but outherwise the bakery was ok."

The service, staff and food is excellent.There is a wide range of bakery goods, freshly cooked pastries and sandwiches too.I can recommend the multi-grain and sourdough bread.

Warings is a fantastic bakery and has been a great addition to the Thatcham town centre. The staff in this branch are absolutely smashing and are always lovely to myself, my hubby and rescue dog!There are a great variety of goods available each day; various breads, pastries, cakes, doughnuts. The problem is, knowing what to choose! We particularly enjoy the savory cheese bread, the apple cake (divine!) and the knotted doughnuts.The bakery also does a great variety of different goods during seasonal/holiday periods, so there is always something new to try during these periods. Waring's Christmas pudding is the best that I've ever tasted and I cannot wait to order another one this year!We are so lucky to have such a wonderful local business amongst a sea of big, (often soulless) businesses.

We had a work function on a Saturday and needed a lunch that would cater to everyone. We spoke with the indulgent baker the day before and they were more than happy to accommodate. We had 3 platters of sandwiches with a varied filling (not just the standard, cheese, ham, egg and tuna) with extras in the form of cakes, which all went down a treat! Thank you very much from all at Vision Development, reliable, efficient and reasonably priced, will most definitely use again :-)

I haven't been in recently, only went past it. I have been in the bakery in the past and I found the staff helpful. They do a variety of things and their bread is tasty.
