Finding an Asian hair salon without a lengthy wait list is a challenge. My husband and I have been loyal customers because of Ami, who always ensures our hair looks perfect whether it’s a cut or a perm.Yumiko Jones has been our go-to Japanese hair salon in Bristol but Ami has recently moved to Bangshanky so we’ve moved here as well.

Went in for a full head of highlights and a trim and Gemma did an incredible job, couldn’t recommend more! The last pic is my hair prior to the appointment (:

I've gotten my hair cut here by Vito and Chloe. Vito was honestly amazing. I don't always know how to ask for things proper hair lexicon or whatever, but I can describe what I want/don't want and Vito was on-board 100%. I came out with exactly the haircut I was describing to him and it was great. I've got a thick head of super fine, wompy/curly hair and I sometimes get a bit anxious when it comes time to get it cut. So finding a stylist who is patient with me/will hear me out is crucial. I'll definitely be coming back for him. 10/10.
