This was my first time visiting and I must say Rebecca and Morgan were fantastic. Quality products were used and the whole experience was lovely.

Found this little Gem by accident after searching high and low for a good nail shop that also use OPI… well I found much more that that. Such a friendly place with a very tranquil atmosphere felt super relaxed from the moment I entered. So gentle yet so thorough. Can’t wait to book in for more treatments thank you so so much xx

Disappointingly, following my recent LVL Lash lift I have found myself for the first time ever being compelled to leave a review for the benefit of others.Prior to my holiday I had called a number of salons to get an LVL treatment and found due to their popularity most places were fully booked at short notice however I managed to secure an appointment at Rebecca’s Retreat and spent some time discussing with her over the phone my previous experience of LVL - my first (many years ago) had been spectacular and I was so impressed with the results I had the treatment again the following year, however at a different salon as I had moved areas and found my lashes quite damaged afterwards. Becky assured me this was most likely due to poor practice and over processing, she advised that she understood my concerns and assured me she had plenty of experience of LVL. Becky invited me to the salon for a patch test and I felt reassured with the process.When I attended my appointment Becky asked me what result I wanted, naturally I said I wanted it to be as noticeable as possible - simply to be nicely curled and darker.Becky proceeded to suggest the “extra small shield” and was debating with herself whether to use this size or the “small”. Not being trained in the process I was not aware of the impact of the varying shield sizes and left Becky as the professional to use her own judgement.As soon as Becky showed me the results I was concerned. She advised me that she had “decided against the extra small Shield” and was glad that she had - goodness knows what the result would have been if she had of used this as even with the small shield my lashes were curved backwards at an unnatural angle making them appear short and stumpy when I have naturally reasonably long and full lashes. I also note that the tint had barely taken and the ends of my lashes remained blond.The following day I called Becky and advised her that I was not happy with the result and she asked me to return to have them re-tinted, Becky admitted she had noted following the treatment that the ends had not taken but assumed it was some “residual product” which I thought was odd, however I agreed to return.I returned at the arranged time for the re-tint and waited 45 minutes outside before leaving the salon as no response was given to numerous calls or on the ring doorbell. I returned home and and hour later had a call from Becky to apologise for not being available when I arrived - she urged me to return at another time which I did for my THIRD visit.Tint applied and overall a better colour was achieved however the curl remained very poorly done and with a distinct ‘kink’ where the curl started at the base of my lash. Becky was aware that I was unhappy with the result and offered to complete the LVL treatment again when I returned for holiday for free in order to try and rectify the issue. I advised I would contact her upon my return to discuss.Whilst away my lashes became even more disheveled and are now growing out at all different angles and so unnaturally curled I can’t even wear mascara as it goes all over my eyelid. In some patches the lashes are so out of place it appears I have a bald patch!I have attempted to reach out to Becky and requested that she provide me with a refund of the price I paid (£48) to enable me to go elsewhere to have the process done again by somebody else as I do not feel confident in her ability to conduct/rectify this procedure. Becky has declined this and despite previously offering to redo the treatment to try and resolve the clear errors made is now saying that 6 weeks should be left between treatments and does not advise me to go elsewhere.All in all the experience was very disappointing and costly for a result that I now will have to put up with until my lashes regrow. Becky did claim that her lash lifts allegedly last longer than others and I could hope for it to last 8-10 weeks rather than the widely advertised 6-8 weeks. I can only hope this is not the case either as they look a complete mess.

This is a fabulous salon. I visited for the first time last week and at the end of what had been an incredibly stressful week. As soon as I walked in, I felt calm and relaxed and was made to feel so very welcome. Wonderful treatments, stunning salon, Becky is really experienced and I also really enjoyed the conversation while I was there. Would highly recommend.

Rebeccas Retreat
Today I went to Rebecca’s Retreat with my friend for her birthday treat. I can’t begin to explain how you’re treated there from start to finish, nothing is too much trouble and they go to great lengths to ensure that you have a really good experience and treatment. We both had a manicure and pedicure at the same time in the same room which was beautifully decorated. They even went the extra mile of providing lovely birthday balloons in the room and took home by us. I’ve been coming to see Becky for years and I can honestly say to anyone reading this, you need to visit Rebecca’s Retreat. You’re treated like royalty, they go the extra mile to ensure you have the best experience and an excellent treatment. There’s something very special about this place, and that’s down to Becky and the girls! Can’t wait til my next visit :)
