Sick To Death
Some good fun, loads of information, we really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a stop off for the price of the ticket, £7 for an adult.

Fascinating! So interactive, so interesting. Mix of history, learning, interacting and linking what we learned in the past to how it helps us now. And ultimately fun! I loved it.

Small entrance fee for a very informative attraction. Lovely greeting on a cold day. To really appreciate it you need to read all the material, self guided. If you don't then you miss out. You do need your torch on your phone as some areas are dark and thus makes it hard to read. Great for all ages but do get immersed in the interactive parts to make the experience better, disgusting but fun. As you first enter after the video there are a couple of torches. Use them as it shows hidden weighting and information. We enjoyed it as it was quiet. I can imagine as its small it would become cramped and loud when visiting during holidays and weekends.

After reading reviews I had really high expectations but was left a little disappointed. It was set up well in the church, but dark and felt cramped. Audio experiences were broken, cheap and worn out props, and it just felt like everything needed a face lift. Shame because I feel like it has the potential to be really good. Friendly staff however and cheap enough admission prices however I wouldn’t overly recommend. Would also try to avoid on weekends as very busy and hard to see everything.

Great place. Most suitable for children/young adults and anyone with a passing interest in medieval medicine. Spent around 1.5 hours here

Fantastic little museum. Highly recommend.Sick to death documents the gore of medical history through time. Very interactive and informative. It was so much fun, and ticket prices were very reasonable. It was self guided, with lots of photo opportunities. Would be okay for younger kids who are okay with descriptive gore (think horrible histories). The building itself is stunning, and old church with many features throughout, including a very large and beautiful stained glass window.

Been wanting to visit for a while and was not disappointed. Small venue but an excellent one with some really interesting interactive (gruesome and smelly) displays. Well worth a visit to learn a little more about medicine through time.

Good use of a disused church. It added to a slightly scary, creepy atmosphere. Adults & children enjoyed it as it's so interactive.UV pens were fun for spotting hidden germs & messages. We learnt a lot about the history of surgery & medicine & Chester. Bit disappointed that the turdis was out of order as I wanted to have a ride in the world's only time travelling toilet.
