I visited the KFC at Commercial Road in Portsmouth, UK, on 07 August 2023. I came to England in June 2023. I'm originally from South Africa, and I've visited many different KFC branches across South Africa. This is by far the dirtiest KFC I've ever been to. It looked like a pigsty. There wasn't one table that was clean. I asked the manager to have the tables cleaned as all the tables were dirty. It will probably take a person 5 minutes to wipe the tables clean. He said they are short staffed, while he was just standing there not doing anything. It was a very poor excuse from him. As I told him that I'll be laying a formal complaint, he started giving me an attitude and said I can do that. I also told him that I won't be buying from that KFC again. He said it's alright.For an establishment that sells food, this shop should close or the manager should be fired, as he obviously doesn't care about the franchise or the health of the customers. I could only imagine what the food preparing area" looked like at the back. I wouldn't be surprised if it's also as dirty as the rest of the shop. I genuinely wouldn't recommend anyone eating here."

After spending £50+ on a meal for 3 ppl and getting it delivered i was stunned at how poorly packed it was, everything was just thrown in the paper bag and 2 of the gravys was all over the bottom of the bag and everything else was just covered in it. That is the last time im ordering from there. Never again

I'm writing this review out of an extreme insulting incident from staff today. I've visited the store at 10:03 pm.A black guy was in the front till (no name badge on him) when I was placing the order, I had to redeem a reward, he did redeem it and it showed in my app but the receipt didn't came out first, might be a technical issue or whatever. So I've asked if I can apply my student card on it instead and he said we can't but to confirm it he would go and ask the manager. Meanwhile, a young Indian lady (no name badge too) came in and asked me if I need to place the order. Her attitude was extremely mean and arrogant. I have never experienced anything as rude from a staff here before . She was a bit confused on what she was talking about to me regarding the order. So I told her, if you could give me my order, I could go as I proved that my reward was already redeemed. I was in a hurry. Then the black guy came in using very offensive language and they were communicating right infront of me insulting and humiliating me. As a customer, it was really disappointing and overall they even gave me the wrong order after all. This experience was extremely disrespectful and I've never expected something from this store and staff. I hope you guys atleast do the needful as this is not a good service that is favorable to the customers.

This kfc is a joke. The amount of food for the price is ridiculous. I paid for the rice 2 pounds and all I got was one spoon of rice. Shame on the workers! I do hope you will get scammed the same way. I will never order anything from there ever again. One star is way too much.

Terrible customer service,Staff talks to each other and treats the workplace like a club. They don't follow food safety standards! Staff are sitting down the table where food is served. The cook scratched his beard and then served the food without washing his hands.The manager of this place hasn't an idea about how to manage people and how good customer service should look like.

Very dirty take away but the biggest problem is the attitude of the young lad service front of house. It would not be a suprise if a delivery driver took a dislike to him and told him so. Asked for some napkins and was thrown a hand full of KFC wipes and said use these. Shame really as this reflects on the whole visiting experience. Poor management

The toilet was filthy and the pigeon was still just about alive when it was served to me. I know it was still alive before they fried it as I saw it happily nestled in the beard of the big, bespectacled guy that served me. As I was waiting I heard the squawking of a bird! I know when a bird is not happy as I've attacked many Chickens in the Legend of Zelda games when I was younger, so I just know it was being deep fried while it was still alive. Also after there was no more distressed bird noises, the big bespectacled guy returned with my order and there was no longer a bird in his beard but an empty nest - I suspect fowl play!

I have ordered zinga burger meal for 4 people but all of the chicken are dry and small and burger is like not look good ,waste of money and I have ordered food in there have to wait long time for the food and service is slow ,I will not order from this branch anymore as I have tried 5 times all the times some thing happen ,so disappointed

Incomplete order missing top bunAnd lettuce looked very old.I asked for ketchup and they gave me spicy mayo. Not the first time I have issues with this KFC, but they messed up so badly this time I needed to write about it.
