We visited today as it was my Dads Birthday and my parents have never been here before. Lovely waitress who was very welcoming and friendly.The food is lovely and fresh and the portion size was very generous which is always great when hungry.Definitely worth a visit if you are around the Vale.

Fabulous cozy dog friendly pub with gorgeous food and lovely staff. Very warm welcome from Molly and Risha who looked after us brilliantly. We had some small plates which had beautifully balanced equisite flavours and a naughty but wonderful sticky toffee pudding. We popped in as we were passing not knowing anything about the place, but are so glad we did as it exceeded all our expectations - definately our new favourite place. Thank you guys xxxx ❤️

Olde-worlde pub with lovely service and great food. We've been a couple of times and it's always lovely to see Pete. There's service with a smile and he always makes us laugh. The food is lovely: good portions, full of flavour. The pub has a lovely homely feel to it, especially if the fire is on!

Amazing food, beautiful country pub, old building, real fires, lots of interesting elements to the decor, lovely staff and attentive service - sometimes a bit slow on a Sunday, simply because they are so busy. They work their socks off and do whatever they can to accommodate people’s needs. Sunday roast is fantastic!

Only stopped for 1 drink but Sunday lunch smelt gorgeous! Nice big beer garden and a good sized car park. One of the more expensive pubs.

A great cozy pub with lovey foodMe and my wife stopped in after visiting the milk shed down the roadI had the chicken pie with veg and chips and wasn't at all disappointedIf ever we're in the area we will definitely returnThe staff behind the bar was very nice and had a good laugh while serving our food and drinks

Really loved the atmosphere and friendliness, it was very busy, with only 3 staff serving, but waits were not unduly long, and the mushroom and Halloumi burgers were devoured enthusiastically. The roast dinner was very generous.

The Red Lion first visit and what a lovely time we had. Friendly staff...warm and inviting atmosphere. Lovely Garden area if it is warm enough to sit out. All the food is excellent and mouth watering. Would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed..

Really nice food and very good service but the place was a bit dirty and in need of redecoration. The small dining room felt very claustrophobic. It is more of a pub with food than a restaurant
