Mill Street Store & Deli
Only popped in for 30 minutes, but time to enjoy the coffee and cake for £5 offer. It is a grocery shop as well, selling a good range of items as far as I could see. Where we sat a glass panel had been placed in the floor to allow people to view the mill race running under the building from the mill opposite the deli. Quite hypnotic. Lovely decorated window celebrating the coronation.

What a beautiful cafe, and village store. Well worth a visit. We had coffee and cake, but they had a nice breakfast menu. Look for the old Mill run buried under the cafe seating area. Fascinating.

Nice shop with some freshly baked pastries and a nice seating area. However, the coffee is terrible, hence the 3 stars.

Great find in the lovely village of Nayland. Has a wide of fine groceries and meats etc, plus a lovely tea and coffee or hot chocolate area. Good pitstop after walking round the village and surrounding countryside.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Dog friendly. Very knowledgeable with cheese and food. Excellent variety of wine. Had breakfast, very tasty. Shame we were only passing through but definitely recommend.

Cycled over as they say on their site that they are bike friendly. Nowhere to lock my bike. No customers inside or out, so asked if I could leave my bike in an empty space by the window, was told NO. Asked if could lock it to one of the chairs outside, again told NO as we might get a rush of people. This was like 10:45 in the morning, and not a customer in sight. I didn't stay as they clearly didn't need my custom.

Visited the cafe twice while camping nearby. Great breakfast and panninis. Friendly atmosphere. Lots of essential supplies available in the shop as well.

We chose 3 cheeses from the deli with the wonderful guy who works there. His knowledge and experience was outstanding! We particularly loved the honey and thyme Gouda and the Conte. Thanks so much Mill Street Deli for making our visit memorable.
