The Laundrette - Chestnut Grove

Dirty shop and machines, customer service non existent.Got in for drying and the woman working there first said 14min until the first was available and after I waited she said nothing was available because she was using it! Don't waste your time and money going there.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.I put my whites in for a hot wash and when the machine was done after 25 mins, the clothes were as cold as ice and were still soiled. I suspect hot water is not used to hot wash the clothes.Wish I had read the reviews before I went here. You would think a business model that helps people clean their clothes would be what it is they have to the top of their list, but no.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

Brutal business. The lady running the place is rude, they open and close when they feel like it. We only use the dryers for bed sheets and reluctantly use this place as there is no other options within walking distance. They don't give out change for their machines which defies all logic.

I ignored the reviews to see for myself as the location was convenient for me.Immediately realised why it has such bad reviews.Driers were broken, there is visible mould in and around the washing machines.Wash is £6 for small wash.Most expensive than other places.Opening hours state 8am-8pm in massive neon sign in windowI asked the Woman who owns shop how long a wash takes and she wouldn’t look me in the eye just kept saying they shut at 7pm and water is cut off at 6.30 (????) all while the neon sign above her head says 8pm close!What nonsense. Clearly she just wanted to go home early.She was extremely rude, talking on the phone to a friend at the same time.I left without using any of their services and will not return.

No change machine and no washing clothes after 6pm even though they list on google being open till 8. The old lady running the joint definitely DGAF about customer service, Rude AF. Hope this place goes outa business soon.

I go for service wash often don't know why she's never there other customers say she's just popped out for 5 mins and I'm still standing there 15mins later I walked out today not going back anymore.

Washing machine broke so had to use local laundrette. Despite all the poor reviews, very easy to use and had no issues at all

I did a load of laundry at this laundrette today - every single item came out dirty. I went to see the lady who worked there since it was clearly an issue with the washing machine. She refused to acknowledge there was a problem and was quite rude.What is the point of going here if your clothes come out of the machine dirtier than they entered and then the member of staff won't help and is rude to customers!

This launderette is not fit for purpose as service washing and items lost. Ignorant and rude staff and refused to reimburse and/or provide managers details . Avoid at all levels!! I have given the time to resolve and no avail - also every time I have visited the charge is different for the same service totally unacceptable. I see other similarities in reports and reviews regrettably.
