Telford & Wrekin Council

i reported an issue regarding a dangerous situation developing on a road outside my house 2 months ago and still Wrekin council has not acknowledged my concerns, its almost they wait until some one gets seriously hurt or killed before they act and do something about things now day. (water seeping up from the road so you can imagine one morning ill find a sink hole outside my gate)

Watch the Ironbridge demolition live on our site they said, avoid the area! What happens, they can't even get a live feed running. Joke of a Council and has been for many years.

There is a tendency these days for large corporate entities to hide from their customers using phone system menus that waste your time and lead to dead ends about checking on their website. Telford council are masters of this dark art. For a public entity that charges for services via poll tax this is not acceptable but like so many layers of bureaucracy these days actually finding someone who is accountable is impossible let alone being able to vote for anything other than the same two party farce.

Logged a pothole problem in january. We're into may and they're still holding out. Same as what other's have mentioned We'll escalate it

This will sound unbelievable but I have been trying to get to speak to someone from the highway dep for the last 3 year's . I have called this call centre many many times and they always promise to get someone from the highways to call me back and it never happens . It really is a wast of time calling them . And when you ask the name of the person who is speaking they only give you first name on the 17th Jun 2016 I speaking to a woman called harie . I ask for a name and email address of someone from highways to forward photos and information to . But she telling me that they cannot give out that information . But promised they call me back that never happens . Wot a load ofIgnorant people you are Telford and wrekin council . But you very happy to take my council tax

THE WORST COUNCIL I have ever had to deal with!! They never answer calls and can't even stick to a direct debit mandate stating the direct debit was never set up when in fact it had been set up numerous times and on a few occasions I have even contacted them to make sure it was set up!! They decide to not take payments for months the suddenly try to take a massive amount and when you call to clarify what is going on you either can't get through to them or you get through to the most ignorant smug git on the planet who simply states the direct debit was never set up and there is nothing they can do!! They are the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever came across so much so that we will be moving out of the area just to be rid of this council!!
