Had an absolutely delightful hour yesterday afternoon in this super cool record shop. An extremely friendly, enthusiastic young lad with an encyclopaedic knowledge recommended some rare grooves to me. American Gypsy is the best record I’ve bought in ages. And I buy a lot of records. The fact that I knew little about the genre didn’t matter one bit. This shop is a bit out of the way but you must visit it.

Absolutely amazing little record shop that specialises in funk, soul and jazz. I had the most pleasant hour and a half browsing, chatting and listening to music with the knowledgeable staff! I found some incredible gems and left knowing that I will be back again as I only touched the surface of the immense collection of rare tunes! I didn't even get time to look in the 45s boxes either! If you like your funk, soul and jazz then this is a treasure chest of a shop! Very reasonable prices, friendly... what more could you ask for!?
