Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Cardiff East

Donkeys. Booked my reservation for a Ford Galaxy Automatic on the 17th of August. Collection date was 24th of August which is today at 12PM. They called me at 8AM today with a voicemail to say there's only manuals available went in branch and they said automatics are only available after bank holiday so Tuesday the day we're supposed to RETURN the car. I've already paid and prebooked, paid £571.36 including excess protection! I'm due to leave from Cardiff to London today and was given such short notice, ridiculous! They aren't answering their calls either so I had to call customer service and they've contacted their area manager and done a non availability form. Pathetic experience, ruined my day and potentially the holiday. Don't book a reservation here, they aren't trustworthy whatsoever. I should be compensated.

Extremely friendly, understanding and helpful staff.Assisted me with an issue caused by booking with a third party agency. Went into bat for me and assisted in getting a refund on my booking when I was unable to pick up the car due to reasons out of my control.Cannot recommend them enough, and thank you to the manager for his help and outstanding service.It felt like dealing with real people instead of a faceless corporation which is rarer and rarer in this day and age.

All staff extremely friendly and I was quickly seen and dealt with. This was for an insurance hire car, but would 100% use them if I ever needed to hire a car personally.

Complete joke.I’ve rented an auto Mazda SUV for 20 days from their website and when I came to pick it up it wasn’t available. The staff hadn’t come up with a solution for me so “I” then asked for another car “if they had” AND pay extra for their own mistake. I also paid for all the extras to make my time easier and stress free and enjoy my time with my wife and kids. I asked if I could return the car to Heathrow (as that’s where I’m travelling from) and had to pay an extra fee just to do that. Upon returning the car; I forgot one of my bags, 20 minutes later I called up to ask about it and the response was “the car has been rented out and there was nothing in the car and I should file for missing item” I find it a disgrace and absolutely disgusting that after spending that much with all the extra fees to make my time stress free. The operator and the desk staff to turn around and simply tell me “oh sorry someone must’ve stole it”. You cannot tell me after I delivered your car back to you at an international AIRPORT with CCTV cameras absolutely everywhere that my bag was simply stolen. Where’s the customer service? Where’s the customer experience? Wouldn’t recommend anyone to use it.

UPDATE: After hirng a vehicle one way to Cornwall, the engine overheated at Taunton as the coolant was empty. The dash said service overdue by 600 miles. After the stress of getting water from the nearest petrol station, I made it to the destination. Upon arrival I explained the situation. A few days later I had a phone call from Stephanie. The call concluded with a partial refund of the payment. Today I've tried unsuccessfully to get through on the phone. I'm extremely disappointed with the whole service as no partial refund has been issued.PREVIOUS: Professional, friendly and helpful service provided my Shannon, Charlie and Molly. Collection and return of hire vehicle went smooth and hassle free. The premises is conveniently local on Ipswich road, with customer parking at the rear. I can't rate my experience highly enough. Will certainly be using them again in the future.

Twice I ordered car to be dropped off at a specific time, twice over an hour late. You can accept 10-15mins because of traffic or bad weather, but an hour with no communication is bad.

Difficult one very mixed feeling! staff are very friendly and helpful however held my refund for around 3 weeks for what only looks like they forgot to press the button, hired a car from Bristol north branch and dropped off to Ipswich road and have been charged damages that were there beforehand and agreed by Bristol, not sure who’s at fault but certainly should not be me ! Unfortunately I naively just took the staff word that it was accounted for without taking photos etc. Lesson learnt ! Side note had a hire car from Ipswich road paid for by insurance the next day which was a pleasant service

I usually rent from Enterprise. This time I was served by James which ensured to give an amazing customer experience. Well done

Excellent service at this Enterprise and super friendly staff. Tell you everything you need to know before setting off on your journey and make everything easy picking up and taking the car back. Car I rented was spotless and had just been freshly cleaned before picking up. Will 100% be using these guys in the future whenever I need a car and will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you!
