I booked and paid for a VW Polo or similar with sat nav on March 1st , I was given aFord Puma when I went to pick up on May 20th , a nice car but too big for my needs . I was told all small cars were booked out for football game at Wembley but could try after weekend to see if a smaller car was available, I did this on Monday and Tuesday of following week without success. I went to office on Wednesday and was told to come back in the afternoon, I went back and was offered a Corsa but I discovered afterwards it had no sat nav , I also had to photograph eight damage sites on car as there was no paperwork covering previous damage and I certainly didn’t want to be on the hook for previous damages.I’ve always used Europcar and have had no issues until this time , as I had booked and paid for a vehicle in March and the Sunderland game at Wembley was not a certainty at that time I would have thought that my booking and payment should have taken priority. Definitely not the service I have been used to in the past.

Great team to get a car from. I needed a vehicle at short notice on a Saturday and it was no problem. The vehicle was clean and as described. Staff friendly and professional. Highly recommended

Visited our home city after a long time, hired a very nice car at a very reasonable rate from European. Staff couldn't have been more helpful on pickup and return. Will definitely use again. Tony & Sharon Freeman, Norfork.

Fast service very efficient

Had a car for rent 3 times and each time was shocked both by the customer service and their policies. If anyone has a chance to rent somewhere else , don't hesitate.Was given a car with one scale down for petrol and I brought the car under the same conditions were charged for that , even though I tried to explain that , I was told I was wrong and there is no way about it . Had rented the car twice with foreign license , didn't have any problems third time I came I was told they are not valid and if I previously rented with them was okay , they said we shouldn't have received the car.Staff looked not bothered what so ever about the customer service , didn't even tried empathize with us or try to discuss . Was running back and forth getting different documents , which before never needed.Overall experience probably the worst I have ever encountered with any company.

The van I rented was a little bit beaten up but was comfortable enough to get me to London and back. The staff at the branch were kind and as helpful as they could be, however, there had been a few problems in the booking where a van was no longer available from another branch and the payment 2 weeks later has still not been refunded to me for this. The staff are nice but to get any help involves calling a call center who continually transfer and are unable to resolve an issue. Unfortunately, as a result of this, I wont be using them again despite their prices.

Great service, definitely recommend

3 day van rental appeared to be a good price which is why I initially went with them.1) Vehicle wasn’t serviced correctly and I ended up doing a tour of Halfords autocentres at the advice of the branch looking for one that could top up the Adblue (none of which stocked it) in the end just bought some myself at extra cost2) got ANOTHER invoice after the rental saying I’d only hired the vehicle for 2 days and charged me an extra £60 for mileage that was covered under the 3 day rental I’d already paid forNow in customer service limbo waiting for refunds; low price was not worth the hassle.
