Exemplary Sevice. A friendly environment, the staff listen to your issues and help to the best their abilities. Their testing procedures are thorough and un-rushed making sure they cover every issue. By far the best opticians I have attended in the Stoke area.

Both me and my 5 year old daughter got our eyes tested at James Herd. Staff were amazing with us both especially with my daughter who needed glasses. Professional staff who assisted us with glasses and gave advice. Highly recommend!

Just had eye test with Sophia at James Herd..I was very nervous but Sophia made me completely at ease ..I had OCT scan , eye drops in to dilate for the first time and it was totally fine ..I would highly reccomend this Opticians , having been tested at various other chain Opticians in the past , I now will always use James Herd , all safe sanitation Covid precautions are in use ..So very pleased with everything ..Sophia Kelly and Jane ..thank you

Our family had been going to James Herd for years. Should’ve given my 5 star rating then. It is still 5 stars. Very accommodating receptionist and very professional optometrist who saw us today. Her name is Kirsty- she’s brilliant, never pushy, never rushes you, explains things and answers any question. I’ll never go anywhere.

Had my sight tested today at James Herd in Tunstall and the person who tested my eyes was extremely thorough, professional and caring. Everything was explained in detail and the examination felt unrushed and friendly.Well done, James Herd opticians, I'll be recommending you to others.
