We used Jane and Paul when we had a new puppy and the service they offered was fantastic and was great peace of mind for us. They came in twice a day to play and feed our pup and it was clear how much she loved them. We were also kept up to date how she was doing by daily texts. Now the puppy is older we have reduced the visit to once a day, and it is great to know that she is being well looked after while we are out. Jane and Paul are very flexible and are happy to adapt and tailor the service required.

Excellent service, really helped out specific to our requirements. Their flexible and caring attitude towards the animals left me feeling confident whilst I was away on holiday. We have a dog, 5 hens and a guinea pig and they were more than happy to look after them all. This was the first time that we have needed someone to come in to help with the animals, a lot of people simply weren't interested or afraid of looking after the hens, but this Company were more than happy.

Highly recommend Paul for dog walking throughout the week. Our pup is usually running around the house in circles during the morning, but after Paul picks her up in the early afternoon and drops her back off she is passed out on the couch the rest of the night from so much running. Absolute professional service.

Had the most exceptional service from Paul and Jayne . We went on holiday for 5 days and left them with our boxer, parot and 4 chickens. We were absolutely delighted with their service from walks, post, updates on the animals etc, they made our holiday relaxed knowing that every thing was ok. I would recommend them highly and will definitely be using them again. Thanks again to you both, you truly are exceptional people

I trust Paul and Jane implicitly with our animals. Our dog adores Paul and we know he is well looked after. We know that our dog is having a safe and happy walk that tires him out for the rest of the afternoon!

Jane and Paul are absolutely brilliant! That have looked after our dogs for many holidays as well as taking them for regular walks. Our boys absolutely adore Jane and Paul and get so exited to see them. The care and attention they give is incredible and they treat the dogs as if they were their own ( talking to other people who have also used Jane and Paul they love and cherish every dog they care for this way) the dogs are well exercised and returned washed and clean. After using other walkers and sitters I feel Jane and Paul are like no other. They connect with your dog and love what they do. I can’t recommend them highly enough and am so glad to have found them, I know our dogs are too!!

I couldn't recommend this company enough. Fantastic service, great prices , extremely reliable and I have found them very supportive during the current COVID crisis having had our wages significantly reduced whilst travel is restricted. We have three house cats in Irthlingborough and they have been well looked after several times by Paul and Jane of the last couple of years.I don't like the idea of taking any cat (especially house cats) out of their family home and putting them in catterys. This is nothing against Catterys as I am sure they do a great job, but having researched I read on severy websites that it can upset the animals removing them from their home.So the service these guys provide was exactly what I was looking for.initially they come out to interview" with you and the animals

I moved into the area in May. I was so pleased to find this wonderful setvice from Animals at Home Nene Valley District. My beautiful whippets are walked for me on a weekly basis and a 'live in' service is provided when I have to stay away. Whippets are sensitive dogs and would soon tell me if anything was wrong, my dogs are totally happy and relaxed and always pleased to see Paul. This tells me that I can have no hesitation in recommending the service provided.

I’m really happy with the service I have received from Jane. She has looked after my diabetic cat very well when I have been away on holidays and for weekends etc. When I get home my cat is always happy and healthy, the house as I left it and the litter tray emptied. I go away happy knowing that my cat will not only have his medical needs met but also be cuddled and cared for.

Sadly I cannot say a good word about the service we received from Animals at Home. After having recently moved to the area we were at a bit of a loss for What to do with our 2 cats when we went on holiday at the beginning of this year. They had never been in a cattery before as previously we had a friend that would come in and look after them. Therefore we thought pet sitters would be the best option. First impressions were OK, Jane seemed very caring. She told me we would receive regular updates about how the cats were doing for the two weeks that we were away. The only time I received updates was when I took it upon myself to contact Jane and ask. We were reassured by Jane that the cats were a pleasure to look after. I was worried that they wouldn’t be very unsociable as it takes them a while to get used to new people. She said that she hadn’t seen much of them but had checked on them and they were fine when she did see them. (I should point out they are not feral cats but do have a tendency to hide under the bed when scared so I had asked Jane to check upstairs if the cats did not respond to her when she arrived at the house). The cats were still settling into the new house and one of the cats, Peanut, had a tendency to get into fights with other cats, obviously trying to establish his territory in the new garden. When we got back to the house after a 24 hour trip, I walked in to find the cats had been sick on the wooden floor. This had dried into the floor and not been cleaned up (in numerous places). There were muddy footprints through the house. When looking upstairs, the upstairs toilet had been used, (which didn’t bother me) what bothered me was that a man had clearly used the toilet and left the toilet lid up, the cats had then gone into the bathroom and drank out of the toilet to the point where there was barely any water left in the toilet and muddy paw prints all over the bathroom as whoever had used the toilet had not shut the door afterwards. We have a downstairs toilet and had deliberately closed the upstairs bathroom door to prevent anyone (including the cats) from going in there. To top it off, my cat Peanut came downstairs to greet us looking really sorry for himself. He usually runs towards us with tail held high, but he couldn’t lift his tail! On closer inspection it appeared he had a large wound at the base of his tail that had become infected and was oozing pus! So we had to rush straight down to the vets with him, after having not slept after our trip for over 24 hours! I was absolutely distraught. I was in flood of tears. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I get the feeling this couple give more preferential treatment to dogs as my cats were not taken care of. I realise they are not a cleaning company, but even when my friend was looking after my cats free of charge she cleaned up after them if they were sick, or cleaned up muddy footprints! These people are clearly lacking with the personal touches with customer services. It was especially upsetting as I had looked into setting up my own pet care company after studying and achieving a BSc Hons in Animal Behaviour and it is worrying to see the lack of care given. This company are sadly giving a bad reputation to the pet care industry out there as I’m sure there are others that take much better care of people’s pets. However it has now completely put me off of using these sorts of services and I would now rather put my cats into a cattery when we go away.
