Not the best overall. Drinks were just fine but too expensive for a place like this. They add an „optional service charge“ of 12.5% to your bill and by optional I mean they add it without telling you. If you don’t want to tip on top of the already overpriced drinks you have to tell them. I find this approach really not customer friendly. We had a reservation and were placed in a separate area away from the live music act. Whilst this was quieter it was a bit awkward because we would have liked to enjoy the show. You might want to consider walk-in instead of booking a table. The bar is very loud in general I guess this is people’s final stop before heading back home. Food was so so. Security at the entrance was friendly. Our waiter brought us the bill after one hour with no comment without us even asking for it. I probably wouldn’t come back.

Attended a launch party here and was very nice venue...spacious and well laid out...staff were nice and friendly... were served finger foods but they were tight with the platters...food was nice enough and drinks were spot on..well worth a revisit!

Cool decor, decent music, expensive drinks prices. 2-4-1 cocktails between 5-7pm.

I celebrated my birthday here on a Monday and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. Tony Bowen sang all night our favourite songs and it was lovely being able to request them. I definitely recommend Eastcheap Records.

Good pit stop if you are a fan of live music. But. I would call this place an in-between. Meaning you don't really get loud live music, nor are you able to talk to your friends. Maybe it was the actual space that me and friends chose, but I will definitely give it another go at different spots within the bar. Overall quite 8ntersting space, good decour, great live performance, great service. Suggested as a pit stop.

When we first entered Eastcheap Records in the afternoon, we found it really appealing - vinyl records covering the walls a few tables, the bar and most importantly a stage which at the time was empty. We were after a venue with some live music where we could spend a joyful evening and this seemed like just the place.Having secured two seats, we returned in time for the opening group in the evening. What a difference - the place was packed, and like in every pub everybody was happily chatting. Don't get me wrong, I quite like the pub atmosphere with happy voices filling the air. At Eastcheap Records, however, two young musicians were on the stage and began to play - and it was absolutely impossible to hear any music. We were wondering whether anyone else had noticed the young musicians. Of course we weren't in a concert hall, but lowering the noise a little and showing some respect to the musicians, is that asked too much? Eventually and with some disappointment, we left much earlier than planned.
