Great site. Facilities were good and kept clean. Fantastic location although the tourer/tent area was very close to a main road which was busy till quite late at night. Otherwise a nice quiet site.

Loved it. Been here 3 times, stayed in 10,11 and 12 may view. All caravans were beautiful not to mention the second to none views. We could see the bass rock and may island. Staff were very friendly. Most nights we walked into St Monans' Harbour. It is so picturesque there and we loved it.

A clean tidy site with electric hook ups for all, nice toilet / shower building and dish washing and laundry facilities also available. The location right beside the Fife Coastal path was a deciding factor for me.

For the money paid the pitches were very small. The neighbours awning was only about a foot from our motorhome. We couldn't find out how to get the key for the toilets, there was a playing field right next to the site with houses on the other side not a secure place at all. The road was noisy. All in all I was glad to move on.

THE worst site I’ve stayed at. My wife and I must be missing something about this site or the reviews are fabricated. Let me explain why. We stayed on pitch H7 which unknown to us is right next to the main road and so unbelievably noisy. Somebody mentions in a review that the tourer pitches are near the main road but you don’t hear the traffic. That just is not true. If you are not used to staying next to traffic then avoid this site as you won’t get much sleep. Our house is dead quiet at night so we ended up getting no sleep and left the site early. Forget any thoughts of stunning sea views from your camper. The static caravans are the ones on the frontline. The touring pitches are furthest away from the sea next to the main road and the pitches are close together and you can hear TVs and folk moving about during the night and the morning. There was heaving rain overnight and it appears drainage isn’t good as there were large patches of water that hadn’t drained away and seeped into our awning. Let me go on. There are two bud stops right beside the touring pitches. The buses sit with their engines idling for ages and it’s very noisy. Plus we had youths waiting at the bus stop banging on the shelter at 11 pm shouting and screaming. Then when the bus left some drunk men who got off the bus fell over our lines. This looks to be mainly a residential holiday site where folk come for the weekend for a big drinking session. Oh and I notice that nobody mentions that the toilet block and showers are shared! Yip you can be sitting doing your business while there is a lady and toddler having a shower a few feet away. All in all the worst camping experience ever. Yes the surrounding area is stunning and we enjoyed the east neuk very much but just avoid here. We are experienced campers of about 20 years so I think I’m pretty well placed to give an honest assessment.

Absolutely wonderful, as always. Clean, welcoming, peaceful. Stunning scenery and fabulous walks along the Fife Coastal Path. A place where you want to come back to time and again, and we do.

Fabulous part of the world. Static home is showing some areas of tiredness particular to the exterior.

The good points are close to the fife coastal path, so it's fab for walkers and site seeing. Wash facilities were clean and tidy but are unisex, so it takes a little getting used to.Now, for the bad points, we were camping in a tent. Our pitch was on the end. This is close to the fence, I use the word fence lightly. It is wooden posts with wires going through. This is only about waste high. But anyone can just walk onto the site, and they did to use it as a cut through to the main road. The site is also next to a football pitch, a kids' park, and close to a school. We didn't feel that our tent was safe, there is also a public path just behind where we were pitched. People walking past all day and night, this disturb our dog's and us.The site is also next to a main road. We had cars racing up and down at night every night. It is also at the end of a dead-end road. We had people coming down and turning all day and night. There is also a bus stop right near where we were pitched. And the icing on the cake was at the weekend there were some young boys playing in the toilets. They were not staying on the site. The door to the toilet is locked, and only people on the pitches had keys. But the door doesn't close on it's own, this is how they got in. Maybe a sign on the door, asking for guest to make sure the door is closed behind them, would have stopped this from happening. This has put us off from staying on this site again, and it made us come home early.
