Warhammer

I remember my first trip here. And since then I got into Warhammer!Liam (not me, btw. XD It's a different Liam) was, not just helpful, but also passionate and that in itself gave me a great sense of joy!I've been painting Warhammer figurines since, and have also since been getting into the lore. It's a fascinating world. As a D&D and (now) Warhammer fan, this shop is absolutely fantastic.OH! If you're curious about getting into it? They offer trial paint sessions. And by trial. I mean, like. Free. You get a free mini-fig to paint in the shop and an excellent tutorial as you paint.(PS, I know I ain't great at painting but I am new to it! Super stoked to get back into collecting as soon as possible once the current situation is over and done with)

My husband goes here all the time for his hobby needs. I've been here with him too and have often gone to buy him some supplies for his birthday. I've always been made to feel really welcome by all the staff. They're always willing to put in a lot of effort to help and give advice. The store is always clean and fully stocked with lots of interesting models.

I second all the positives previously mentioned in the reviews of this store. My son was fascinated by Warhammer from the moment he saw the window display. I was a bit cautious bringing him because 'Comic Book Guy' does exist in some hobby shops, however Liam was brilliant. Enthusiastic, engaging and talked to my son in just the right way to make him feel like this was a place he wanted to spend time. We've been back plenty of times since and Liam is always there to chat and help with painting even when the shop is busy. Great customer service.

Absolutely brilliant visit, wanted to learn Warhammer 40K. Liam was super friendly and approachable. He recommend the first set to get, made me an appointment to go and learn about the game learn to paint and everything in between. Absolutely outstanding and can’t wait to learn more about the hobby.

The manager Liam is a very helpful and friendly fella. Great man for painting tips, hes helped me no end. Keep up the good work pal.

The manager is so welcoming even when busy, can't do enough to help. Recommends products that really help you rather than just upselling. Helps with painting and gaming. Can't speak highly enough of the guy and his store.

First - the staff, and everything the staff control - is top-notch. They're friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, welcoming - they quickly and seemingly intuitively seem to know what level to pitch themselves for every customer. Like most stores of this nature, they have a lot of repeat customers who are close to friends, and from overheard conversations, spend leisure time with some. Liam's great, and he's ably assisted by Mike and Mark who are also there occasionally The store is conveniently located, well-presented, and has plenty of parking nearby. The only downsides are linked to the company itself and the way the stores are supported / instructed to run. Many products are unavailable off the shelf due to limited supplies and have to be ordered, leading to two visits per item (one to order, one to collect - if you order online to collect at store, the store doesn't get" the sale). The website for the company is full of broken links and out of date information. Some items are inexplicably simply not available (e.g. you CAN'T BUY transfers for Blood Angels? They just don't make them now? These are one of the promoted factions!) The central online customer service is awful and only exist to upsell - when I enquired about these transfers

Absolutely fantastic store for veterans and new hobbyists.I've only just started to collect 40k myself, but Liam is very accommodating and offers his time to help with any difficulties you may be having.It's nice to find a games workshop store where people are enthusiastic about their hobby, but are not overbearing or 'weird' about it.Definitely would recommend
