Great range of products and mostly very helpful staff. Generally, I am always busy at weekends. Good parking shared with Haskins next door.

Absolutely love Hobbycraft, such fabulous things you can't find elsewhere.Fantastic disabled bays, large enough for my huge wheelchair accessible van, near the entrance.Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. The only reasons Hobby craft gets 3 stars is they have decided that wheelchair accessibility isn't something they need to think about, so randomly fill the aisles with very precariously placed bins, baskets, boxes, canvases, toys, laptrays, special offers, etc, it was an absolute nightmare, it took several times as long to find what we needed, a lot of stock had the wrong prices or no prices, items that I thought were £3, because their ticket said £3 were actually £5, a bag of sticky dinosaurs we thought were £4 or £5 were £7.50, I couldn't even ask anyone as there was only 1 person working the checkouts, with a long queue and a few staff busily doing things on the shop floor. Some parts of the store are completely inaccessible to wheelchairs because of the random piles of stuff everywhere, including where the models and magazines are, how I didn't take a whole display out several times is down to my excellent maneuvering skills, not the well designed, or thought out displays. The cost at Hobby Craft has never been competitive, but I was shocked today to see items 2 sometimes 3 times the price of the exact same item elsewhere.Having said all that I do like Hobby craft, just can't afford much in there, and can't get around properly, able bodied people with a high amount of disposable income will be fine.

I was completely ignored at the till. The person serving me was too busy moaning to her colleague to even return my Good morning"."

Visited Hobbycraft this morning to buy needle felting felt. I went to the shelf where I have found it in the past, but it had been moved. I asked a member of staff, who then misdirected me to felt squares. After looking around the busy shop, without luck, I then queued at the cash desk to ask another member of staff, who again misdirected me. By this time I was running late and had to leave. More knowable staff may be required or floor staff able to help customers with queries. That's why customers come into your shop, rather than buying cheaper online.

Lovely place to shop, shop is nice and cool compared to the heat outside, tidy and organised, full too. Staff were pleasant and courteous at all times. The meet and greet young lady was good also, nice and welcoming smile.

As a Hobbycraft card holder, I received a £5 birthday voucher by email. I seem to recall being sent one before, but it must only be on special years, as I don't actually remember when that was. There was no minimum spend required and it did not expire until 2/12/22. I thought that if the weather did not turn cold before that date, I would have wasted the chance to burn it, to stay warm. That would only last a minute or two anyway. I decided to cash it in immediately. Not concerned about the cost of the fuel I would need in order to reach the store, I set off in order to enjoy the gift. There is plenty of parking space at the store as it shares the area with an attached garden centre.Immediately on entry there is a choice of trolley, basket or small wheeley bin in which to place your purchases, the first of which are almost blocking the door.Hanging signs direct you to the aisle for your particular hobby. Unfortunately there was little for the scrapbook enthusiast on this visit. Plenty for knitters, modelers, painters and those who wish to throw away this years Christmas tack. With just 3 useful items in my possession, I found I needed to add an additional sum, equal to twice my voucher value, but still pleased with my special birthday windfall, I exited in order to use up what remained of my petrol tank.

Really friendly and helpful staff! I asked someone where a fairly specific product was and she took me to it immediately. The lady at the checkout also explained the benefits of the Hobbycraft Card very thoroughly. The price for everything was very reasonable! Excellent experience, I will be coming back.
