The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London

I have visited the Mandarin Oriental London Spa multiple times during this year and I would gladly come back again. The staff and service are always wonderful and the therapists are always very helpful and patient. Overall it is a very luxurious and relaxing experience and definitely one of the best spas in London!

I was booked in for the English Rose spa package yesterday and had a wonderful day at the spa. The women’s only spa facilities were super clean, quiet and left me fully relaxed before my treatments. It’s quite small but perfectly formed and there were only two other women there whilst I was using it so didn’t feel crowded. There’s also a big pool in another area of the hotel (although I didn’t use it.) The changing area is stocked with nice little extras as is the relaxation room, which I ended up having a nap in after my treatments. My treatments were absolutely fantastic as was my therapist. The heated and adjustable massage bed is a really nice touch.The hotel itself is also stunning and the staff all seem very committed to delivering a five star service to their guests.A few negatives-Some of the shower fittings are loose and would benefit users to have clear hot and cold markings on them.The weighted blankets in the relaxation room are not long enough. I’m 5’7” and my feet and lower legs weren’t covered. It’s such a shame as the blankets are lovely but it did affect my ability to get comfortable and became quite annoying.The towels were lovely and soft but the dressing gown was too small. It was a size xxl on the label so there’s definitely sizing issues here! Out of the two other women in the spa it only fit one of them and she was very small. The other woman was of average build and it didn’t fit her either.The website is tricky to navigate and could do with being MUCH clearer. I found it difficult to find detailed facility information and prices. It comes across as a bit dated really. I don’t understand business that make it difficult for customers to book their services and this would’ve probably been enough to put me off coming here over a spa that had a better, more user friendly website. My boyfriend booked this for me however and although I’m glad he did, he did express it wasn’t the easiest.Alarms went off whilst I was in the pool for about a minute. I was about to vacate when another guest told me it was a test. She’d been warned about it but I hadn’t. I did laugh about it but really I should’ve been given a heads up.Room for improvement but overall the good outweighs the bad and I’d recommend and will most likely be back soon.

Disappointing birthday treat. My gift was not waiting for me. It got delivered to the room 6 hours later… spa facilities very average. Tiny sauna, jacuzzi not working properly or else lacking controls. I had to stop the masseur from only massaging my back because I was in pain from her rubbing my skin in one place for so long. She then massaged my head with her OILY FINGERS! Made my hair greasy, I felt awful going for lunch afterwords since she overrun and I was late for my reservation. Rushed, with oily hair my day was ruined.

Ally, the phone receptionist was very short and unhelpful. I did not book in because of her attitude, as I presume the rest of the experience would be similar to how she presents.

One of the most elite Spa’s in London great experience followed by dinner highly recommended

I can not recommend the Spa at the Mandarin Oriental London highly enough.From the moment I arrived I was treated with professionalism and grace by the entire staff. I also have to mention the masseuse Toby enough. He is one of the kindest people I have ever met and a true “healer”. He is professional, respectful, knowledgeable and a master of his craft. I feel truly blessed that I was placed with him. Thank you, Toby and wishing all of you the happiest ofHolidays for your hard work during the year.

Great experience. Got the digital wellness experience and loved it. My girlfriend got the same but got a different experience as me so that was weird but she still enjoyed the spa and the massage was great.

Look I feel a bit bad giving three stars but as a male client I have to say I found the gentleman’s spa facilities to be in an average condition for a hotel of this calibre. The Corinthia has a better quality facility. That said the treatments were quite good.

Most incredible spa I’ve ever been to. I had a two hour treatment and 90 minute spa access. They’re not too strict with the spa access once you’re waiting for a treatment. Great attention to detail all around. So calm and peaceful and treatment was top notch
