Bought a cilo from them picked it up with a blew brake light and then less than 3 weeks later the car won't start. Ring them and get told you probably need to buy a new battery and its not being covered . Avoid these cowboys

Bought a Nissan qashqai around a year ago and this is how it went.Returned car in the first 2 weeks due to a few concerns (reverse camera not working, audio system not turning on after multiple starts, cold coolant (does not heat up with engine) and cold air blowing when at operating temps, also had concern of clutch as pedal was very hard but was advised it was perfectly normal and can’t see any issues.Reverse camera fixed but microphone now broke (must of been re routed) audio system very intermittent so off no concern. Got advised that the system is fine and heat is fine even after concerns were raised. Ended up needing a new thermostat as it was stuck shut (cost and parts came from own pocket) air was cold due to a blocked heater core, core now flushed and up to actual temperature even tho was told it was fine. Concerns about clutch came true and a new clutch had to be installed. Smoke coming from exhaust which was told (it’s recharging) ended up being the turbo intake pipe and unit.There were a few others stuff wrong which have been sorted (some have not been sorted) but I did not raise this when buying the car so I won’t list the details.Overall with the car I’ve had a really bad experience with it in the first year, putting just under £700 in the first year of driving (car cost me £6000) and failing the first mot with 3 serious faults which will cost me another few hundred to sort. Also have a few more stuff that are not very impactful but will need addressed sooner rather than later. I would expect this off a £1000 car found on gumtree, not from a £6000 car from a dealership. Also when they keep telling you ‘nothings wrong’ it’s very hard to say otherwise.I would also like to mention I got the car around 83k miles and there is currently around 88k on it so only 5k miles have been done with so many issues popping up in about 11 months.So overall I have had a terrible experience ( may off just been unlucky ) and more than likely will never purchase another vehicle from here and nor recommend anyone else too

I purchased my new car from MH Motors in the summer, the service is and selection of cars is fantastic. When I arrived at the show room, I was greeted by some lovely ladies who give me a stock list of all cars they currently had with year/price/millage etc. This made it so easy to see straight away my top picks and stay within my budget. I test drove my favourites and left with my new car purchased. I would highly recommend and will return again in the future when the time comes.

Buys alot of his cars from Wilson's auctions mallusk, I've been looking a car myself last few months and any car that I've been interested in internet dealers bid u out. 4 of the last 5 cars I have bid on have been on mh motors web page with in a week of bidding, with around 2k to 3k added on top of the price. Disgrace

AVOID!!!My partner bought a mini from these guys around 4 or 5 months ago. The clutch always felt slightly heavy but we just assumed that was the way it was. The clutch snapped 2 weeks ago and the whole thing had to be replaced at a cost of around £1000. The guy said it must have been like that for some time. As soon as my partner got into the car today she said the clutch now feels so much lighter. I checked its massively lighter to push in so the problem was there before we bought the car. I find it impossible to believe that someone who deals in cars wouldn't have been familiar with how a mini clutch should feel if its OK. Unfortunately this is a harsh lesson and we won't be dealing with this company again. Obviously they are accepting no responsibility for the condition they sold the car in. Be warned folks!
