The Wee Dram @ Foyers House
Our room had a great view. Good place to drink a Whisky or a beer. But there are too less shared bathrooms for the such a high number of People. The wifi isn't working in the rooms. My recommendation is NOT considering taking the Full Breakfast. You get a sadly looking buffett. The Pancakes we ordered weren't fresh and were supposedly from the local Supermarket. So if you just wanna drink something with a great view its a good place. For accomodation better look for something else.

We had dinner here as we stayed. The food was generous in portions and the very friendly cats came to help encourage us to sit , drink, admire the views and give them head scratches.The food service was fast and the drinks list was by far the largest I have seen in a while.

What an amazing place. So welcoming and kind, which are the perfect attributes for a host. Food was perfect, from portion sizes to how it tasted, just cannot fault it. Even going the extra mile to help customers with a birthday celebration, it really was an outstanding restaurant.

Lovely friendly place, albeit very warm to the point of falling asleep.Excellent layout of whiskys on the wall, I wish I had the bank balance and stamina to complete the listThe menu was simple, lack of starters even a soup of the day was disappointing how ever the quality of the food couldn't be argued with the steaks were good with a traditional garnish and the desserts fresh and tasty with good quality ice cream.All in all I would recommend if your staying in the area.

The owner is quite rude and talked to me in an aggressive and disrespectful way I have rarely ever seen.She asked during check-in what I want for dinner and told me when it'll be ready. Only to tell me hours later (when everything else was closed) that she won't serve dinner for me as I didn't make a reservation. Apparently you need to make a reservation beforehand (nobody tells you that), otherwise you won't get anything, despite plenty of space.Also they are cash only, no card accepted. No, they don't tell you that beforehand either.

Extremely rude greeting on arrival. We had walked up from the campsite and just wanted to inquire about booking a table for the following evening. We had our dog with us so knowing that dogs aren't welcome, one of us was just going to pop in to ask, however as soon as we were through the gate, a grumpy man approached and waved his hand at us saying dogs aren't allowed and immediately stormed off again. If that's their attitude towards customers then I'm pleased we were unable to book!

Travellers beware you are not welcome to drink at the establishment if you're not booked in for a meal. Receptionist was very rude and unaccommodating on arrival.

We loved it. If you're after a posh hotel with all the trimmings this is not for you but if you're after a homely feel with good banter and great views then book it! Our room with a lake view was cosy and comfy. Had a shared bathroom but that didn't bother us. We would definitely book again.

We loved it. The welcome was superb. The service is top notch. The rooms are great. The pub is overwhelming and the view is outstanding.
