Europcar Birmingham Newtown

Avoid Europcar at all costs.Had arranged to rent a vehicle until 11pm. Europcar gave the greenlight all the way through and took my money. Found out the facility closed at 1pm, so had to drop the vehicle off at an alternative site. Charged an extra £600. Now going through the appeal process which takes upwards of 5 working days for each response

My boyfriend and I rented a Vauxhall Corsa here for 2 weeks and everything went well and smoothly.The staff was very helpful, going above and beyond our expectations. The process of picking up the car and returning was easy.

Alert!!!!!!! They are scammers!!!! DO NOT USE THEM. If you don't get the insurance with them, they will claim car damage not done by you and will take money from your bank account without letting you know! If you confront them, they will just say that the damage wasn't there before the rental, with no evidence whatsoever. I had to leave the car in the designated parking lot at night. They don't even provide evidence that the car was not damaged by someone else overnight nor prove that the damage was not in the previous rental damage report.

Excellent service. Booked a small car but they offered a Skoda Octavia for same price which i couldn't refuse. Collin was the guy who showed me the car. I was worried because it was my first rental from Europcar but he reassured me and advised to look for him when returning the car which is what i did and everything was smooth and deposit returned same day. No questions asked. Brilliant service. Special thanks to Collins.

Really nice people at the counter, good and clear explanation about the car and the particular rules applying. Very good experience. We will definitely rent our next car here if needed for our next vacation. Thanks again!

Why does it take them so long to answer their phone in the Birmingham branch I had my car to be collected by them I called all day only to get the most irritating repetitive message but no answer terrible service back on the phone the next morning same thing no answer repetitive speaking message wow this is not good why have bloody phones or a branch and obviously not enough staff. When You go to the branch the same thing There is one member of staff on reception doing three peoples job. Something needs to be done about this not a good look for the company . Lovely staff but poor service via phone and ine person.I am still awaiting them to collect Thier car from 3pm the day before 8hours have gone from they where notified so it's not my responsibility for security on their car left in the Carpark.

I am absolutely disgusted with Europe car. They have tried to charge me £51 for fule even though I filled the car back up to the brim before they picked it up, I have proof because I was warned they try to scam you out of money. I have tried to call numerous times to tell them I am not paying a penny as I know the car was full but no answer so telling them on here. You should be ashamed of yourselves as a company

I had an issue with an extra charge for the week I rented the car - I contacted customer service and within 24 hours they had issued a refund. Great customer service.The rental itself was great. No issues whatsoever. Colin and his colleague Bal were great help. Would recommend!

Absolutely disappointed I was stranded in the hottest day of the year on Saturday for nearly five hours just because a simple mistake was made by their staff. The key ring had the wrong information on it stated that it was a diesel car so I topped up with diesel 5 mins after the car broke down it turned out to be a petrol car. Not only the fuel information was wrong they put the wrong reg number too.
