It's very expensiv. The food was good but very small Portion and very small amount of Rice.

I would not recommend this restaurant and will never spend another penny in there. To begin with, we (5 of us) were reluctantly told of a one and a half hour wait for our takeaway which turned into 2 hours. The food was eventually given to us, cold, although did taste very nice to begin with. However, I found my chicken satay was completely raw. As a result of this it was taken back to the restaurant to ask for a reason as to why this was. Unbelievably the response that was given was “would you like some prawn crackers and a drink?”, eventually the individual provided us with a refund of £4.50 as this was the price of the chicken satay. So to summarise I have come away from this restaurant £70 down the drain and potential food poisoning for the next week.

Visited for dinner yesterday and didn't enjoy it. First the goods, the food seemed like authentic Thai, the people were nice and authentic and the place looks nice. The bads was that we had to wait 90mins for our food. They were fulfilling all take away orders and don't serve the customers dining in which is infuriating. I'd give a negative rating if that was allowed so not recommending for dining in.

I called up this restaurant asked if could make any of the dishes vegan. Was told yes no problem. Turned up the booking, asked for the allergen menu. Placed the order flagging 'NO EGG' twice. Meal came with egg. This was really frustrating and didn't feel like the restaurant cared.

I have been here before but didnt try too many meals. On this trip my Fiance and I tried a few dishes.We had the satay mixed starter. This is a mixed platter and provided a great variety of dishes and flavours, I loved the chilli beef salad.We then tried chicken sweet and sour, jungle chicken curry and Larb.All of the dishes were very freshAnd packed with flavour.The service was friendly but professional.

We stopped over for night stay at Kendal before proceeding to hike Scafell peak. The Resturant was just so authentic and food was awesome. Must go place for meal before or after hiking. Post hiking we returned back for early meal and it didn’t disappoint. Good service and helpful staff!!

First of all, I am surprised at some of the poor reviews people have written about this place...this restaurant is amazing. It has been a while since we last went to Thailand bur this restaurant is by far the closest we've got to feeling like we was back there. The food was so tasty, and so authentic. Plenty amount of food - we left full. Yes this restaurant has high prices but its pretty obvious as to why they charge the prices they do, such as: the high quality of the meals, the beautiful decor, you are in the lake district, this is not an english gastropub (far too many people comparing prices of this restaurant to pub grub, nonsense reviews!). The staff here were so welcoming and friendly, even ensured our toddler was having a nice time.We had the Jintana sharing platter starter, so tasty and a lovely variety. Then we both had a chicken massaman with coconut rice - huge depth in flavour of the curry sauce, simply heaven. Plenty of food for sure.You will not be disappointed if you come to this restaurant, I could not find any faults whatsoever with it. We was happy with our whole experience here, food, staff, price, ambience was 10/10 for us.Look forward to returning here when we next up in the lakes. Thanks so much for a great meal to end our weekend in the lakes.
