I ordered the OG burger and fries. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly! The chicken was cooked to perfection and was juicy, however, the chicken lacked taste and I found the sauce to be too little for the burger. Also, the bun was disappointing. I felt like it wasn’t toasted at all, it was just cold and dry. Overall a 3/5 for me.

Plain food, plenty of better food in the area. Mac n cheese was not pleasant. Chicken burger was ok, popcorn chicken was pretty good fresh

Went here after seeing on Instagram and wasn't disappointed. Lovely, crispy chicken, nice chips. Alcohol meal deal not good value for money. Chicken could do with a little more seasoning. Additional pot of cheese sauce a little expensive for the thimble you get at £2. Would visit again though.

Just been here for the first time after my friend came across Butchies (Shoreditch) online, both went for the buffalo burger meal/chips & soft drink each with a portion of 6 chicken tenders to share (& were very nice) coming to £34.50 when I believe it should of been £32.50? (wasn't questioned at the time only realised after looking at the full menu back at work)apart from this the food & vibe inside were very good,Would defiantly recommend to friends & would go back again.

As an avid fried chicken fan, I was very excited to try Butchies but was fairly disappointed with the experience given the prevalence of good chicken shops in London.I ordered the wings which were good but are fairly expensive when you could get better wings for less than half the price at Morleys. In addition, I ordered the Cheesy Rider burger which felt like it was lacking in flavours.The service was also pretty slow (ate at lunchtime on a weekday).

Great fried chicken shop option in London. The Chicken tenders are juicy, crispy, fresh but they could have just a bit more flavour within like pickle marinade or something. Burger is pretty substantial, doesn’t hold together amazingly bc it was made from tenders. The buffalo and blue cheese sauces were really good. Bread was okay, not amazing.The skin on chips are great although pretty salty and the restaurant was stuffy with poor ventilation, so maybe they tasted extra salty in that environment. There was a fly buzzing and I couldn’t open the window. I saw they maybe had air conditioning but it was not turned on.

We decided to try this place as we kept seeing it being hyped on TikTok. We were so disappointed with the food and felt like it was very overpriced despite the food being the worst we’ve ever tasted. The service was slow yet the food came out cold. The cheesy rider burger was cold so we asked for a new one which was warm. Both times it had barely any cheese and a very acidic buffalo sauce. The chips were also cold so we sent them back and the second time round they had far too much salt on them. The wings were the worst thing, they were so greasy and had no flavour to them. The batter came apart from the chicken to reveal a tiny little wing which they overbattered to compensate for its size.

Found this place on my way to a meeting. They cook your order fresh for you, so expect a short wait. But you’ll get a tasty, moreish piece of crispy-coated buttermilk chicken. I had the spicy wrap and it had a good kick to it. The burgers looked good as I saw them delivered to the seats upstairs. I had takeout and I would go again if I’m in the area.
