Boiler Friendly Heating Services Ltd
I contracted Boiler Friendly to fit a new boiler, radiators and remove existing back boiler but leave the gas fire as it was in good condition and a nice fire. The boiler job was done okay but the fire turned into a nightmare. Unfortunately for me and not living in the property I assumed all the jobs had been completed and handed over the full payment on that basis. I only found the fire had not been connected when I came to use it and despite agreeing to have additional work completed when I was on holiday it never was. I then found the glass front of the fire broken (it was not when his men moved in to do the job) and was quoted £500+ to fit a new glass and gas valve. When I complained to BF they were not interested and I was left with a duff fire and hefty bill to rectify the problem.Moral of this story - Don't hand over the cash until you are sure everything is to your satisfaction.Never mind I have just spent £17k on my daughters house (new boiler, 2 bathrooms and cloakroom) none of which went to BF. Choice is a great thing.I thought I was finished with this company, however, my tenants in the house reported a problem in the kitchen of the property as the kitchen had been invaded by mice. Further investigation showed that when BF fitted a radiator in the back sun lounge they gained access through the kitchen for the new pipework. They cut the bottom out of the kitchen unit and cut a hole approx 18 inches square in the floorboards so they could fit their new pipes. Unfortunately they left both the access holes open along with all the rubbish and even a packet of cigarettes (pity I don't smoke). I thought maybe John Wayne would have left his autograph but thinking about it the cowboys used by BF are probably illiterate. Just be aware if you are thinking of using these cowboys leave a horse tethered at the back so they can get a quick get away. I dread to think what other little gems they have left for me, but I am sure they will come to light in due course.

Had my boiler serviced, found an issue with a part, advised me to contact Baxi to get a new part, the Baxi engineer arrived and said I needed to keep a hold of the service engineer that serviced my boiler as most do not strip the boilers when servicing, which is how he found the fault! His advice was to keep using them as they were doing a very thorough job!!

'Boiler friendly', should have turned up this morning, I was literally at the window above the front door and look out for the technician. I heard no one call . On phoning the company they could not fit me in for a week and said they called around. The technician tried to call but did not leave a message. Anybody that cannot knock on a door or leave a message seems to want to be somewhere else and cannot be trusted to service my boiler . I'll be looking for a better company..In response to the reply: Nope, definitely didn't come here unless he's invisible and escaped my motion camera that cover the front door . He may have been around the back gate? Still strange that he phone twice (2nd time when I as 1471ing) rather make a second call than leave a message tellinG me he is here?

George came out and gave me two quotes for two alternative boiler installations.He did not pressurise me to accept either. When we decided to go ahead, the installation was timed to suit our calendar. Chris, the engineer, turned up promptly on time and carried out the work with the minmum of fuss. The job was left clean and tidy. An excellent job carried out by professionals from start to finish and they will get my annual servicing.

Used this company for the first time to service our central heating boiler. A fault was detected and the engineer immediately checked for parts availability as the boiler is quite old. A follow up call was made to their office and the boiler was repaired within 48 hours. Both Louise in the office and the 2 engineers who took care of my boiler were very friendly and I cannot fault their efficiency.Would definitely recommend this company and use their services again.

Getting a quote for a new boiler was quick and easy and a competitive price. The engingineer was polite and helpful offering different solutions to the type of boiler and location quoting a 2 week lead time for installation.The quote came the next day as promised. I e-mailed back saying I wanted to go ahead. The office rang straight back to plan a day in the next couple of weeks.The engineer arrived about 8.30 am on the day.A different engineer polite and helpful immaculate work ware and the van was clean and tidy. All very professional.The installation all went to plan and the engineer left the place spotless.Very happy with the whole experience

We had our bathroom totally replaced with tiling on all 4 walls and to the floor, complete with new shower cubicle, bath, toilet, hand basin with a fitted a 2 draw cabinet underneath and a fitted tall boy.When Jon called to measure up he sat down with us and explained the whole process and went through the catalogues showing us what we could have which helped us invaluably in choosing. The quote arrived by email within a couple of days and we accepted it and booked a start date. The work was completed to a very high standard and we’re extremely delighted with the finish.

First time I've used this Company, the engineer arrived on time, very pleasant chap who explained and showed me what he was doing. The service didn't take too long and looking at the residue removed from the boiler was well justified. I've paying too much over many years for a breakdown package and never been advised about servicing. This Company is local and the engineer seemed well trained and competent. All fired up and working well ! I'm happy and it looks like I'll save money....

Sad to say that I have had the misfortune of dealing with these cowboys also. the service delivered was shambolic, incompetent and totally NOT what is being advertised. I have a disabled family member and was guaranteed minimal upheaval at the best value for money. This is NOT what was delivered but rather my home was in upheaval, while staff where rude, damaged doors and walls in my property that at my own expense I had to call in builders to put right. My disabled family member who must have routine and limited upset was in such a state of distress due to the noise and disruprton and dragged out service that was shoddy to say the least. Cash up front was welcomed by these shysters and once the money was paid , any hope of professionalism was gone as i battled to get the job completed. I would urge customers to NEVER hand over cash EVER until they are satisfied with services. On my many attempts to manage the problems (too many to note) throughout the job, I was ignored, fobbed off and as a paying customer completely disrespected by the cowboys whom attempt to fob off a reputable business. NEVER EVER will I or anyone I know have the misfortune of using this ruthless and incompetent service as I will encourage All to go elsewhere. Had i did my homework in the first place I would have been made aware of the numerous local reviews where one of these men is known locally as a robbing pig literally, swindling huge amounts of money from family and all sorts. People need to do their homework before using these services to avoid being out of pocket, frustrated and disheartened that you have allowed alleged tradespeople into your home on trust. NEVER AGAIN!!
