Barfield Park & Ride
Well used park & ride car park. £3-50 or £3-00 after 10am. Keep 2nd half of ticket for the bus. Bus stop is just outside the car park in Barfield Close. Short ride in to town centre. Get off outside the Guildhall for the Cathedral and Christmas Market.

It's convenient to Winchester city centre but I only saw one small sign indicating the Park and Ride bus no longer pulls into the car park. They need to put a poster at the bus shelter where the bus used to stop. Instead of stopping there, the bus now stops on the main road: from the car park, walk out and turn left - you can see it as it is only a few meters along the road.

Well located park ride car park. If you are energetic, the better option is to walk (15minutes) into the city centre following the signs that take you down some of the local lanes and then onto a path by the river. Free on Sundays and a very good example of how to keep cars out of the city centre without inconveniencing drivers.

It’s a car park - not sure a car park needs a review…. It’s cheap and the bus is easy. Be careful on a Saturday morning with all the parents parking to drop their little darlings off to sports across the road.

I love the extension. There is now decent child and parent parking and it feels safe to park there. You can pay by phone using Ringo so it is convenient. There are also electric car charging points here too.

Brilliant service very good value for money under £4 for the day bus and parking included, easy credit card/debit card payment via the app or by phone or cash in the machine. Lots of spaces though this was a weekday. Regular buses with little waiting time helpful bus drivers, clean buses and overall extremely efficient and convenient both on the journey in and out of Winchester

Always nervous of using park and rides due to remote locations attracting undesireable attention but this one is great. The multi story was very good, spaces wide enough to de-risk dents and free after 4pm. Take the frequent bus or 15 mins walk to town.
