Well stocked garden centre.Beautiful Christmas displays.Very pleasant, helpful staff.Really good cafe, I can recommend the bacon and mushroom rolls.Lots of lovely looking cakes to tempt you.

We absolutely love going to Whitegates with all the family. The shop has lovely gifts at reasonable prices. The nursery has a huge choice of plants & the cafe is fantastic. But the best part for us is the staff. They are so friendly, helpful & welcoming. We look forward to every visit. Thank you!

Whitegates Nursery
A proper family atmosphere from the minute you walk in and are greeted warmly then on to the lovely restaurant and attentive staff. Great food choices and of course so many cakes to choose from. Loved looking at the Xmas decorations and checking out the plants and flowers always in top condition. It is a lovely oasis and a favourite haunt to bring friends.

Whitegates Nursery
Went to Whitegates Nursery for food. Sunday menu slightly reduced to account for Sunday dinner. We had the chicken, beef, and pork Sunday dinners. Lots of meat, and potato on the plate and a side of veg and gravy was given to each person. The food was lovely. Definitely would recommend. Each Sunday dinner was £13.95.As usual also lots of cakes to choose from from the cake counter but we were stuffed so skipped a cake this time.

An excellent garden centre and gift shop....and a great cafe! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious, with the best cakes ever! If you want a real treat , I can recommend the afternoon tea.

Whitegates Nursery
Had an excellent brunch here. The interior of the restaurant has been enlarged and it's bright and airy. Reception and service was prompt although I know there can be queues at peak times.Eggs Benedict was very tasty with thick slices of ham and Hollandaise sauce. The vegetation breakfast was also very good.

First time here and basically fits the blueprint for these types of garden centres. That said, the restaurant is lovely and the food equally. I would say typically it is a more expensive place to buy for your garden. However, the plants look well tendered for and nice and healthy.

Lovely clean, tidy, welcoming Garden Centre. Decent range of gifts and plants. Lovely cafe….part setaside for doggy area too !
