Visited Elaine’s Restaurant for the first time for a Sunday Roast. ( party of 4) service brilliant and food was delicious. We’ll definitely be returning!!

Just had a great smorgasbord of treats, wasn't what I expected but topped any expectations. Food, beer (Hobgoblin IPA) and most importantly the service was excellent. If you live in the area.....or not....its a well worth visit.

The restaurant and bar looked lovely,but the service let it down badly,never been there before and was so looking forward to dinner there,we were seated and the tapas menu on table we presumed was the only option it wasn't till we started to order that we got told oh we have another menu !,Iordered Lasagne and the mixed Salad,I got lasagne cold garlic bread and no mixed salad,My husband fish and chip,s were very small too for the price more like a child's potion,offered the dessert menu then had to wait about 15mins it was only that we where about to leave that we got served ,ordered hot chocolate fudge cake only to be given ,cold cake,took it back for heating and got a mumbled excuse considering we were new people in the pretty much empty restaurant you would think they would get the one order right,the other 2 tables had been fed so only 1table to deal with all 2 people ,so disappointed.

Went there with friends tonight, what a find. A huge choice on the menus. There were four of us and we had a mixture from the main menu and tapas menu. Everything we had was excellent, piping hot, large portions, intriguing combinations and nicely presented. A very good choice for vegetarians too. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Definitely will be back.

Elaine provided an amazing buffet meal last night for my husband’s 60th birthday at Tarleton bowling club. We had the bronze option and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the party commented on how good the buffet was. Busy eating leftovers today! Thanks again Elaine and staff.
