North Cambridge Academy

I really like this school.I have great memories and they really push you academically speaking. Though some aspects of the school are slightly terrible it truly is a work in progress.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. This school is only interested in false glorification. They only care about putting students forward that make them look good. However children that are being bullied and subjected to abuse are ignored daily and never listened to. We pulled our child from this school after taking the advice to do so by the local authorities. The head teacher is very unprofessional and very unapproachable. Would not recommend this school academically or in general.

I pulled my children out of this school because of bullying. We should have guessed how the outcome would be when, the headteacher showed us around, and didn't have time for us. Especially my disabled husband, glad the children got out when they did!!

This is a terrible place miss Tate is very rude to students and causes them emotonal abuse, this school should be removed Frome CMAT.

this school is very bad. Most teachers are very not concerned about the students.

If i could give this school 0 marks i would. I was indirectly told to take my son out of this school becuase they couldnt be bothered to help him. He has special needs and they werent doing there jobs so instead of helping him told him to leave. I sort help and was told what they did was actually illegal. This school only is interested in students who are bright and make them look good. Change of name but its still the rubbish manor school its always been. School for bullies!!!!!!!!

I am more than pleased with North Cambridge Academy as my son's teachers have been getting out the best from him intellectually and socially speaking. The teachers and head teacher have motivated him and encouraged him towards achieving high success in maths, computer programming and music. Thanks to Mr. Fox, Ms Hodge, his classmates and all the efforts from all the staff at North Cambridge Academy my son loves attending school.I am also very happy because my son has established positive relationships with his peers. My son is developing amazingly and my whole family can notice it.I'm so happy I chose this school for my son, I honestly couldn't have made any better choice.I hope this review express well enough how grateful I am with this school.

The school has not invested any money into the right areas. Bullying is a regular occurrence with students not receiving the correct support. We decided to take our child out of the school after a meeting with the headmaster and quickly realised that he does not have the students best interest at heart. He feels intimidating parents and students is the way instead of reassuring parents and working in a professional approach. Would not recommend this school it is not what it claims to be.

Well what good can I say about NCA, not much. I am very Concerned for my children’s well-being whilst at the school. It seems they don’t do much teaching More coercion which is very concerning. The telephone system is not manned appropriately. Not sure Exactly how some staff members are trained. Teachers sharing roles headteacher being geography teacher the list goes on. I hope the children that are there currently are able to make something of themselves in this difficult time. And can only hope for change in the future better management
