I cannot thank Carmen enough for the amazing job she did on my eyebrows! She brought my eyebrows back to life, they were in a really bad way from a disastrous treatment at Superdrug.Carmen is very thorough and works with what suits you.I will not be going anywhere but Blink Beauty in the future, already looking forward to my next appointment.

I had eyelash extensions done here just over two weeks ago, as my usual place didn’t have any appointments available. I was really hopeful that I found a new permanent place to go, as this is much closer to where I live and more convenient overall.The salon is decorated nicely and the staff are friendly enough. My lashes looked okay at the time, but the treatment had left my eyes feeling quite sore. The following day, I woke up to extremely sore eyes (almost unbearable). I contacted the salon to let them know and asked their advice, to which they replied very bluntly to “just use drops” (no empathy whatsoever). Luckily the condition did improve after a few days.Following my treatment, I looked after my lashes as usual, but they shedded SO much! By the time I was due to having them infilled two weeks later, there were barely any left at all which is unusual for me. When I returned to my usual salon to have my lashes redone, they had to remove them and start again. They were horrified at the amount of glue that had been used. Unfortunately this has resulted in some of my lashes being ruined and turned ‘crisp’ like. I have been advised to have them all removed and have the glue properly soaked off, so no permanent damage will be done to my natural lashes. This was clearly the reason why my eyes were so sore following my treatment; far too much glue had been used.It’s such a shame I’ve had a negative experience, as I really wanted to love this place! I just wish I had read a review like this, so I knew what to expect and could have potentially saved my lashes (and eyes too).

This salon is absolutely amazing and will forever be my go-to! the team are so friendly and professional and always make me feel so welcome. Carmen does my lashes and has always made me feel comfortable during the treatment. She's great to talk to and my lashes have always looked wonderful. They're really good quality and I was surprised how long the lash extensions lasted without having to go for infills (just over a month!). I'm really happy with their service and would 100% recommend to anyone :)

Arrived for a booked appointment at 11am and no-one turned up! Or answered their phones. Lovely.

Had a nightmare here. Turned up to my appointment to find the shutters down and shop closed. I then rang the number on the website and got no answer. The hours on Google had also been updated to show the shop was shut.To my surprise I was later charged for missing the appointment and it was a real battle to get a refund - the response being that the therapist had just gone to the loo and that I should have waited longer in the rain. Really unfair treatment. And looking at previous reviews it seems my experience is not unique. A real shame as I was looking for a new local salon. Avoid!

I have managed to have one really good appointment here for my eyebrows but the other 2 attempts have been a disaster.I had an appointment today at 11:30 that had been confirmed and I arrive and it’s shut. Waited and nobody opened it. Another time I’d had an appointment and received a call to say the shop had to be closed for unexpected reasons yet I walked by it and it was open. Kind of annoyed as to why an appointment would be confirmed if the shop wasn’t going to be open.

I arrived for an appointment I had booked in advance (and was sent reminders of via text message) only to find the salon closed. I was not contacted in advance. Really disappointed and seems to be a pattern based on previous reviews.

I wouldn't book an appointment here - I've twice arrived for confirmed appointments (booked via treatwell or via their own website) for the salon to be closed or no one available to see me

First time getting my eyelashes done so I was a little nervous but Carmen put me completely at ease. She done an amazing job and I’m very happy with the results! I will be coming back again.

Me and my mum went here to get our eyebrows done for the first time ever. Cleo and Carmen made us feel so relaxed and welcome! The whole experience was just amazing, the two little puppies also definitely helped make us feel relaxed!Would highly recommend to anyone in the Sydenham/Forest Hill area!
