STAFFORD BREAKDOWN RECOVERY

Not happy with the service, following a blow out I was told a time they would arrive. When they didn't arrive I contacted them to be told that they had a problem with their vehicle and that they had returned to the depot and were coming back out, then I discovered that they wanted to take my car back to depot to replace the tyre and then I was to drive it home. The problem with this is I lived 30mins away and this wasn't agreed. I asked for a refund then and was refused, I was spoken to by an over arrogant man who was right on everything and wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say. No one had contacted me initially to tell me the situation they were in and that they were running so late. Finally they agreed to provide the tyre not fitted and to tow me to a garage as there was other damage to my car. The garage contacted me the next day to inform me that the tyre was the cheapest he had seen and poor quality and then it was also the incorrect weight ratio for my car. The garage refused to fit the tyre to my car for safety reasons. I contacted GDB who was over arrogant again and informed me that it was fine, he wouldn't refund the tyre and I had to sell it on ebay. The weight ration didn't matter because I was not a commercial vehicle. Not happy with this service and have contacted trading standards. A refund for a tyre I have no use for should be offered, I am happy pay for the tow but not a tyre not suitable for my vehicle. Awful service not a fair man to deal with

Too much expensive.260+vat is minimum charge.even for 3 miles they charge the same

This company quoted £150 to recover a car and drop it off at Ford Stafford. The distance from creswell (his base) to recovery point is 0.5 miles. The distance from there to ford is no more than 2 miles.Was it because a woman called up?Or was it because he thought he could rip off someone who has had a bit of bad luck?Or is it because he is a cowboy?Needless to say I shall not be using his over priced service.Ps I got it sorted for £55

Very thankful for the help I received yesterday when my van broke down on a horribly risky road. They were brilliant and very clear about costs involved and kept me up to date on arrival time. Excellent service all round.

Really helpful in recovering my car from the compound. They were able to do this on short notice and very helpful over the phone too!Would really recommend as they went above and beyond!
