Lovely walk, great view especially when it is clear. Just about 10mins from Lancaster, so ideal for a walk when you don't fancy/ can't go far. Different walks available. Can be muddy so bring good shoes :)

A tremendous walk but not if you have a dog. Dogs are allowed on the public footpath which goes up to the Pike but they are not allowed anywhere else because of the terms of the Access Agreement over the rest of the land. You can take your dog straight up to the Pike and then straight back to the car park but nothing else.

Amazing route near the trough of the Forest of Bowland ... boggy in places if it has rained ... some historical sites scattered around a few miles away so if planned well could be a good day of hiking trekking scrambling walking and exploring.

Great walk - I've been doing it all my life. Unfortunately, it's no longer dog friendly, to protect wildlife, so we won't be going back. You can't even walk with the dog on a lead!

Stunning views and scenery although be warned it is every exposed and a moderate to difficult trek to get to. Walking boots and decent walking clothing is a must, definitely not a 'flipflop' type of walk. Well worth a trip, but pack drinks and snacks too.
