Disappointed with Danny! Unsure if he’s the Director of Charlie’s Gutters but he’s let your company down big time! Not a man of his word, takes no pride in his work and doesn’t care if customers are left with further problems. For any roofing works, find another company who is conscientious about their work and the reputation of their company! Can’t comment on any gutter works as not used him for that.Initially, had no issues with him. I had a small leak coming into the single story kitchen extension. Not enough for water to be dripping, but the area would be slightly damp after it rained. Contacted Danny, who had done good previous work at our home before. He came out to investigate, had a look on top of the single story and also went to the top of the pitched roof at the very top of the main house. He identified a crack in the cement on the pitched roof and said the flashing on the single story extension needed changing. He provided me with a quote. No questions asked, arranged for him to return and complete the works and paid him immediately. In the followings days when it started to rain, I now had streams of water running down my walls in the single story extension in a completely different place to before right where the new flashing was installed. Called Danny back, he did return after a few days but insisted it’s nothing to do with the flashing he installed as it was completely dry underneath. Strange to me as I’ve never ever had streams of water running down by walls before the flashing was replaced! But anyway, he went back onto the pitched roof of the main house and saw another hole somewhere up there not in line with the new leak, but said this is causing the new leak. Now, my initial thought was if this was the cause of the leak, streams of water would have been running down my walls long before now? Also, why didn’t you identify this when you went up to do your initial investigation and quote everything together to complete everything at once - as now obviously I’m going to have to pay again. Anyway gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked him to send the quote for this to be fixed! I’ve called him about 8-9 times, my partners called him too and keeps saying he’s going to send the quote. I’ve sent him videos of the water and nothing, he has zero care. 6 weeks later, still no quote and I’m left with water running down my walls whenever it rains. Never experienced anything like this from a tradesman!

We had various guttering cleaned, replaced and extended. The service was professional and pleasant. Job was done in around 3 hours. We were advised on options and paid a fair price for a brilliant service all round. Would hire again and recommend to anyone. Also nice to support a smaller, local business. Spot on.

Had soffits, facias and guttering replaced. The team were very courteous and hard working, good communication and left the place tidy too. Would definitely recommend.

Danny came to clear my gutters. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He thoroughly cleared my (rather full!) gutters, removed loose moss from bay roofs and even replaced an end cap that had fallen off. I was delighted with the work, would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Danny was hired to fit new gutters and repair existing ones in Jan 2023 ,South Croydon. But, recently we had noticed a leak again after a heavy rain. I tried to contact Danny number of times (almost 25 calls and text messages) fix the same issue but he never turned up nor have received a curtesy message for missing an appointment. I waited long enough before writing this review. Unreliable and regret hiring through this company. Unhappy customer.

Danny and his team installed new facias, soffits and guttering at my house. The work was done to a high standard and we are very happy with the result.Thanks boys
