Returned the bikes for an obnoxious £30 per bike and am still being charged for the monthly rental after 3 months despite using the online chat to notify the company already after the second charge and receiving confirmation that it’d be cancelled and refunded asap. Now in customer service hell of trying to get someone to do anything.Lovely idea but badly executed. You’re getting a better deal at Halfords if you use a 0% finance offer and re-sell the bike yourself…

Ordered a bike for Christmas for 30 November & it never arrived. Terrible customer services - there’s no number to call only WhatsApp messages or a ‘virtual assistant’. No response on email within the 48hrs timeframe they suggest. Wouldn’t recommend.

Bike club has been amazing for my children, the added insurance for only £2 per month in case of damage, theft etc is fantastic. The only issue I ran into was when exchanging, unless you time the exchange perfectly - you will be charged twice in 1 month. For example - I have paid £9.99 every month, to exchange the bike for a bigger one the fee is £19.99 and then £14.99 for her new bike. Within a few days, I have been charged £9.99, £19.99 and £14.99, all for just trying to get my kid the next bike up. Something that is marketed as low-cost and flexible certainly doesn't seem so when they could just as easily spread it so I don't get charged £45 all in one go.Other than this issue, the service has been good and the bikes, as always, are fantastic. My child is getting older now, so may just have to give in and buy her a forever bike to avoid the exchange fiasco!

I had a terrible experience with this bike subscription company. They continued to charge me for 17 months after my subscription contract had ended. To make matters worse, they have ignored my phone calls and never responded to my emails for the last 2 months. This is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. I strongly advise against using their services

I absolutely love the idea about subscribing a bike and when the kid grows can exchange for a bigger one plus you don't need a lump sum on one go. However, quite disappointed with the service carried out.I ordered a bike on Tuesday for my kid's 10th birthday to be delivered on Friday. The website glitched and the first order just disappeared. Did another order, obviously the bike I just ordered doesn't show up as available, so I had to switch colour which the kid didn't want. I sold" it as: well at least a bike than no bike. Now on Thursday I'm getting an e-mail that the order is cancelled. Going online to chat with an agent they telling me that my credit history didn't clear. (I don't owe anything to anyone

If I could give their customer service a lower rating then I would. Appalling customer service. Multiple emails trying to cancel our rental and arrange collection of the bike. No response. Then to add insult to injury, having wasted hours trying to cancel and arrange collection of the bike, against a wall of ineptitude and apparent ‘shortage in staff’ they are now charging us an extra month rental for three days because apparently they didn’t receive our responses. Total lies and have sent on the email responses. Surprise surprise they haven’t responded. Again. Now won’t collect unless we pay £30 collection fee on top of month rental for three days. Do not use if you ever want to cancel your subscription.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Bike Club, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about their abysmal customer service. My bike has been faulty for over two months now, and despite my numerous attempts to contact them, they have been utterly unresponsive.I initially reached out via email, attaching pictures of the issues with my bike. To my dismay, I received no acknowledgment or response. Hoping for a more direct line of communication, I decided to call their customer service department. However, each time I called, I was met with empty promises of a callback within an hour. Regrettably, not a single return call was ever made.It is beyond frustrating to be ignored and treated with such indifference as a customer who has trusted their brand. I genuinely believed in Bike Club's products and services, but this experience has shattered that trust completely. A company's commitment to its customers should always be the priority, and Bike Club has clearly fallen short in this regard.I implore anyone considering purchasing from Bike Club to think twice before making a decision. If something were to go wrong with your bike, it appears that getting any assistance or resolution from their customer service team would be an uphill battle. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of excellent customer service when choosing a company to do business with. In this case, Bike Club has shown a complete disregard for their customers, and I hope my review serves as a warning to others. Remember, the service provided is just as important as the product itself, if not more so. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by exploring other reputable alternatives for your biking needs.

The bike club have delivered a broken bike to my house, which cannot work. The bearings are worn down and the pedal cannot be attached. They charged me £20 to deliver the bike and are now asking me to pay another £30 to cancel my subscription even though they delivered something that doesn't work to my house. The bike is broken and cannot be ridden. It is actually very shocking the whole situation. Do not use this service.

Thought that this was a great idea in theory but turns out the company is completely incompetent. They delivered a broken bicycle and initially refused to exchange it. When they did eventually exchange it they must have created a new order and began double charging me by direct debit. Far easier and cheaper to just buy a second hand bike.

Great idea. Fast support but useless at getting it right so far.Ordered two bikes, order appeared to have the wrong colour. So jumped on chat, they told me that they'd amended the order. It didn't look like it, so I jumped on chat again they said they'd fixed it. I then decided to get one bike in a bigger size instead. They said it was all done... The wrong bikes showed up, wrong size and wrong colour. Now, they've charged me to deliver 4 bikes instead of 2. But they only ever delivered 2 and they were wrong. Lolz.
