Excellent garage. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.They quickly diagnosed and fixed an intermittent fueling/poor running fault that my bike developed whilst in Cumbria.They collected the bike from where I was staying and offered to stay open late on a Saturday when I returned for it.Reasonable price too.I would highly recommend.

MOT on my Harley. Fitted me in quick. Also stripped my old TS185 forks in prep for rechroming. Nice staff. Don't to earth old school feel. 10/10

Ridiculous labour cost £300 labour to replace a couple of fuel lines and air intake pipe. Go to GS MOTORCYCLE service’s instead. He is an honest man that charges fairly

OUTSTANDING SERVICE DESERVES 5 STARSTHIS IS second time I’ve used these guys , not sure why I haven’t left a review as yet but it’s better late than never I always say .Do you remember years ago just walking into a shop like this and getting a no nonsense service and friendly attitude ? Well the good news is this does still exist here at SAPPHIRE MOTORCYCLES .Down to earth and friendly service without the usual reaching for the diary and getting a big sigh and being told it’s going to be weeks and weeks before they can fit you in etc etc .This is by no means saying these guys aren’t busy but I always dread the usual response and frightening estimate before you even consider getting out the credit card in the big motorcycle dealerships throughout the country .I had some trouble with my bike and they reassured me it can be sorted without having to remortgage my house and needless to say they were right.Thanks so much to all of you for giving me back my confidence in local dealers such as yourselves , it’s always such a pleasure to shop local .Best regards Elliott 10/10

I would willingly give 5 stars for efficient and fast service, but would like to advise prospective customers to get an estimate or firm quotation before authorising any repairs at this workshop.I recently borrowed my neighbour's ancient Wolseley 'Merry Tiller' Rotovator and shortly after starting work with it, the throttle wire snapped and the exhaust pipe somehow detached itself from the manifold on the side of the cylinder block. I felt obliged to get the machine repaired and left it at Sapphire Motorcycles, along with my contact details.I had good news, and extraordinarily bad news, surprisingly quickly! Much to their credit they had managed to source a new throttle control and lever via the internet, and had cleverly secured the exhaust pipe by means of two strong springs. The bad news was a bill for £385-00!Now, bearing in mind that a complete, working, second-hand 'Merry Tiller' is only worth about £200-00 and the fact that materials for my repair were billed at £60-00, the balance of the bill, namely £325-00, was therefore for labour which, I was subsequently told, is charged out at £60-00 per hour. Although the job was well done, I cannot believe that it took almost five and a half hours to replace a cable assembly and secure the exhaust manifold. I could have bought two second-hand rotovators for what it has cost me to have this one repaired and, to make matters worse, it has had to be returned to my neighbour who will not be contributing to the repair bill. As they say, 'neither a lender nor a borrower be' !It is my opinion that Sapphire Motorcycles, as a courtesy, should have telephoned me, warning of a prohibitivey high bill and seeking authorisation, before proceeding with these repairs. As it is, I had no option but to pay up and am left with no machine and £385-00 out of pocket.As a general rule, ALWAYS GET AN ESTIMATE OR FIRM QUOTE BEFORE AUTHORISING ANY JOB.

Work seems good, but would recommend anyone to get a rough price before booking in, just had 5 wires replaced behind nose cone, 2 fuses and ignition costing £700
