Country Kennels & Cattery

Twm, my Jack Russell is a bit of a softy when it comes to him going on his holidays. He doesn't like kennels....until we found this place! Warm inviting kennels, the staff go to great lengths to make sure your pet has a comfortable time with them, this includes blankets in the beds, a little armchair to sit on and even a rug, a radio playing in the background too.The walks are full of adventure around their vast property and when they have time will take pictures of your pooches having fun.They have a Facebook group which said photos are added to you can enquire about your pet, Wi-Fi is temperamental up there so they might not get a message from you immediately but they do reply eventually.

I take my 2 dogs to this kennels and they absolutely love going! They jump out the car, say hello to the staff and run straight into their kennel. When I pick them up they look they have had a wonderful time. They get fed well and walked twice a day, where they get to charge around like crazy things, which is exactly what they need. I would never take my dogs any where else, it's a fantastic place for dogs to stay at! The kennels are very homely and secure.As to the not answering the phone comments on previous posts, it does not bother me in the slightest, I just know that they are not answering the phone inside the house as they are outside caring for the dogs and cats who are boarding there, and I would prefer they were doing that than sitting inside waiting for people's phone calls.The kennels are in a beautiful setting which is easy to find if you follow the instructions on the kennels leaflet.

I love that they let friendly dogs play together and sometimes share the same pens if they can't bear being alone. My dog is young and doesn't like being left, and they have done their best to give him company. I'm sure that playing with other dogs his age has helped his confidence after being bitten by a dog on a lead recently.

By far the most amazing people to look after your pets totally devoted to their wellbeing in their stay hence occasional missed calls due to them out with our dogs! I also find the charity work that is done by them and for council is upstanding citizenship and fills you with confidence while my pet stays their. They are keen to treat your pet to country side walks and while the dogs are kept very clean and washed ok we all know what wet dog smells like! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my baby's!! And will use these kennels every time. Total lovers of animals and this can be seen in the care given to my dogs.

Our 2 girls love coming here for their holidays the staff are lovely and friendly and our girls are always really well taken care of thank u.

Dogs left in outside kennels in the cold and they looked utterly miserable.Inside very basic and cold although I was told they would light a log burner later on in the day.In this day and age I would expect more from a kenneI wouldn't. Enjoy my holidays knowing my dog was there.

We have been staying in this area and wanted to board our 3 westies. These kennels came up the closest near to our site.We were very apprehensive,some of the reveiws were negative.Well we need not have worried.IT WAS FANTASTIC OUR LITTLE DOGS WERE VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER.If we ever return to this area be assured we will be booking them into you. If booking its does become very busy we booked in march to beable to get in in July.I cannot thankyou you enough xxxxxxx

Fantastic place, my dogs love the time they are there

This is a very good boarding kennels. Great friendly staff and kennels. Log burner for the colder nights to maintain that homely feeling and warm surroundings. They have their own designated fenced off woodland so the dogs can run free if this is what you want. What more could your best friends want.
