Strongly advise anyone considering buying a car here to get an independent inspection done! Don't rely on the MOT provided to say it is roadworthy either. Exhaust gases entering the cab was evident at the first stop half way home. Loud drone from drive train and severe vibration when over 60mph. Got everything checked asap. Turns out it was the flexi attached to the dpf - £1500 to replace. Excessive play on both front bearings - £120 labour. Rear leaf springs were unhappy to say the least. Actually bending downwards with no load in the back causing massive understeer - £400 to replace. No advisories of any of this on the MOT from Micks MOT Centres Ltd, Nottingham. Also Simon advised that it had been serviced, it had not. The service was way overdue in terms of time. The last service in the book is 01/11/20, I bought on 10/02/22. After the sale had went through there was no more contact from Simon with regard his suggestion to send the book to him and he would get it stamped. I asked at least for a copy of the invoice for any work that was done. No reply so thought best to get it done myself - £ 450. Also do not be fooled by the slick website, you will be driving a mile up a single track farm road to a bit of hard standing with a dirty couch to sit on while Simon whips your V5 off you and says not to worry about the yellow bit. I just had to pay £80 for a fine and back tax because he never registered my trade in yet. I know it is my responsibility to register it as sold and should have done it myself obviously now. However I was a bit distracted by Simon asking me to sign a makeshift document to say I was happy with the his vehicle. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG I KNOW! BUYER BEWARE!

I have used Freshwood a few times now, Simon and the team are fantastic to deal with.Can’t fault them, I would definitely recommend them too anyone.

Messaged about one of the cars for sale and recieved very quick feed back, the guy was very helpful offered lots of information on the car , also let me view the car at very short notice.When I got to the garage he left keys in the car and let me take it for a long test drive with absolutely no pressure to buy and let me have plenty of time to inspect the car.The car i brought was exactly how described in the advert to a very high standard and in fantastic condition. would definitely recomend travelling to buy from this seller really nice guy to deal with and very fair and well priced thank you very much for our car we are so so happy with it and would 100% buy from you again without any hesitation.

Messaged seller, made an offer he accepted I said I would get in touch ,, he then sold to someone else as theh offered more. Don't waste your time with these jokers, I certainly don't recommend them.

Simon contacted me when I was selling my old car. I explained I was interested in a part ex and was very accommodating. He’s very honest and doesn’t speak jargon like other car dealerships. I was allowed to take the car for a test drive without any pressure. Unfortunately, after driving away the new car did encounter an engine bay issue. Simon travelled to over an hour to give me his own car temporarily whilst he took mine away to be fixed. Despite poor weather conditions, I had my new car returned within a few days.Nothing is too much trouble at Freshwood. And I would definitely buy from this. Brilliant service, friendly and honest. That’s all you need from a car dealership.

Couldn't fault Simon one bit, My travel going there was horrendous but Simon understood and even picked me up from the station and let me drive it back, Which I thought was good. No pressure to sell let me look over it on my own and in my own time true genuine fella. Long old journey for me to go but wow it was worth it I would off given more stars if I could thanks mate I will bear you in mind for future purchases.
