I have been going to Pilates and HIIT with Rachel for 5 years now, and have honestly found significant changes to my shape, muscle tone and flexibility. Some of the exercises you think are impossible and you’ll never do, but then within a few short weeks you’ve achieved the positions and already moving on to the next advancement. The Pilates classes have a really friendly atmosphere, and the mixed abilities mean you can really push yourself, or just have a more relaxing time knowing that you’re stretching and strengthening your back. The core work has really helped with my running, cycling and swimming and is proven to reduce sporting injuries. Rachel is very attentive, knowledgeable and great fun, and I would recommend her classes to anyone!

I would highly recommend Rachel's classes at Studio 52. I've been attending her Pilates classes regularly for 6 years - Rachel varies the exercises and keeps it interesting and challenging whilst also welcoming new people and ensuring there are alternate options. Classes are very friendly and inclusive.

Studio 52’s Body Conditioning Class is the perfect length at just 45 mins, so it is easy to fit in around a busy lifestyle. Everyone is so friendly and you don’t need to be a ‘seasoned fitness type’ to feel at ease. Rachel always offers alternative or lower impact exercises for those who have particular weaknesses/injuries so everyone’s needs can be accommodated. Overall, I feel stronger and more toned as a result of attending these classes and working all areas of my body and I have met some lovely people along the way!

Highly recommend Rachel’s classes . I have done Pilates and HIIT every week for the last 2 years. Rachel keeps the classes interesting by varying the exercises and her passion for keeping fit is infectious no matter what fitness level you are at. I don’t enjoy going to a gym and Rachel’s classes have fitted perfectly.

I have been attending Rachel’s Pilates classes for the last 3 years. Even though I was already reasonably fit, playing regular tennis and through gym work, I benefit from the extra dimension that Pilates brings and the discipline of the weekly challenge. I feel thoroughly exhilarated after each class, and Rachel’s natural energy and enthusiasm ensures the classes are fun with excellent team spirit. She varies the routines each week, making the sessions interesting and challenging, and they are enjoyable regardless of one’s own level of attainment or goal. I cannot imagine any better Pilates instructor, and I would recommend her studio without hesitation.

I have been working with Rachel since February 2017 in 1-1 PT sessions as well as Pilates and BobyCon/HIIT classes. I’m so much fitter and flexible. Rachel has adapted brilliantly during Covid to classes on zoom, which were the mainstay of my week! It’s lovely now to be back in the studio.Rachel’s sessions are always varied and progressive to push me on. Her classes are held in small mixed groups, are fun and have a good variety of exercises, with adaptions to allow you to work best to your own ability and flexibility. Above all Rachel is great fun to work with, I always leave feeling upbeat and energised.

I would highly recommend Studio 52. I have been going to Pilates classes there for a few years now! The small classes make a huge difference as Rachel makes sure everyone is doing OK, a subtle alteration in a position can make a big difference, I don't think in a larger class the teacher would be able to guide individuals so effectively. When I had an injury Rachel was able to adapt the exercises so I wasn't in danger of making things worse The classes are friendly and the studio a nice bright place to exercise.

I have been doing Pilates at Studio 52 for about four years. This has helped to improve my core strength, flexibility and suppleness and also helped to prevent developing back problems.The facilities, environment and ambience at Studio 52 are excellent. Rachel is a most engaging, enthusiastic, and innovative instructor. She is constantly modifying exercises and routines, set to music that captures the mood, effectively to ensure variety and freshness.The small intimate group setting allows Rachel to provide individual attention for everyone and to create a warm friendly atmosphere.Overall Studio 52 provides a great, rewarding experience.

I first went to see Rachel to help me prepare for a 6 day trek in Ethiopia – long days and high altitude. My fitness improved steadily and quickly. I was jumping and skipping around in a way that I haven’t done for years. The trek was tough but I recovered well.Rachel helped me (and others) through lock down with her zoom classes. I am continuing with our sessions because I enjoy them so much. Each one is the right balance between what you have done before so you can see your progress and something new. I love the body conditioning class as it targets all areas. It’s always uplifting with a great choice of music which makes exercising more fun!Rachel is always welcoming, the class is always friendly & you never feel intimidated, as sometimes in a large class. Rachel lets you exercise at your own pace, will always help you to improve when you’re ready & always focuses on your wellbeing.
