Best Chinese restaurant in the area and i've tried them all I promise. Has tofu on the menu which is really rare round these parts (I'm from London and so have been spoilt for choice for veggie options) which is fabulous and the Prawn toast has actual prawns in it rather than a flavourless paste as in the other restaurants we've ordered from locally. The staff are lovely too and are always happy to take something out of a dish or add something if we ask! So 100% recommended.

The food is excellent but since it became Imperial the time the deliveries take is horrendous. Last time we ordered we rang at 6pm (this was early December so not a peak time) and didn't receive the order until 7.45. no apology or explanation. Under the previous owners they'd say it would be 30-40 minutes and it would.never take more than 20. (Still the best food from a Chinese takeaway in Shilton mind)

First and last use of this takeaway. Order process and price for home delivery was OK. Delivery took at least 90 minutes. Actual food was very disappointing. Set meal had everything (Beef and Mushroom, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, Egg Fried Rice) all slopped in together - I would suggest that you pack these separately. That may well be standard practice but it wrecked it - all one soggy mess and no separate sweet and sour sauce. Meat was tough as hell. Other dish was Roasted Duck Chow Mein - the duck was like the soles of an old pair of trainers. I can't even give the place one star but you have to to be able to post the feedback. First time trying this chinese tonight was told 45 mins for collection, no problem. 1 hour and half later finally got given food. Got to be honest and say it really wasnt worth the wait, rice was terrible, salt and pepper chicken was okay but thats it. Best to be honest with your customers about wait time rather than have them waiting in your chinese for a further 45 minutes than you originally said. Sorry to say we wont be using again.
