We visited Gwrych Castle for an escape live event. Amazing experience, you could tell a lot of effort had gone into making the experience so good. The characters were fantastic and scared the hell out of me. Please bring this back next year. Thank you

Fantastic castle absolutely love it, great history, stunning views. Gardens are great. Nice new additions of the gift shop and cafe in the last year. We also stayed in the lodge and Gothic bedroom just down the road. Great price to get in and still some of the celebrity props knocking about from sets etc!

What a beautiful place to visit, with natural beauty and excellent views. The castle is being cared for carefully ensuring that it is very much going back to nature. The I'm a Celebrity connection makes for an interesting addition to the castle's history. One of the volunteers Roy was extremely well informed about all things I'm a Celeb and my son made sure to ask lots of questions. He also gave loads of details about the whole production process and how it was all put together and dismantled ensuring to preserve the look of the castle.Only spent a couple of hours here but really enjoyed it and would recommend a visit.

Good place for a walk, great views from the castle walls. The castle itself is impressive. Around the castle grounds you can see conservation works going on, the aim is to bring the castle to its formal glory. The place is not crowded, it is a pleasure to walk around at your own pace. Gift shop and little food place available.

Went here for Fathers day and I loved it. Nice big car park and very welcoming staff. The castle is huge and there is lots to see. The gardens, plants and flowers were very impressive also.I liked all the side bits to explore too. The gift shop was a bit dark so you couldn't read the labels on the items very well. There was a food truck and Ice cream van in the courtyard at the end which was great.Lots of I'm a celeb related info cards to read if you're into that.I would definitely go again. Thanks.

Stunning castle ruins in North Wales.Made famous by I'm a celebrity TV show, there are some props and set pieces still in situ. The ' I'm a celebrity ' stuff aside, this is an interesting castle to explore. Although there is minimal access to the actual castle, the grounds and accessible parts offer a good area to explore.Shop and cafe on site, as well as toilet facilities dotted around. There are a lot of steps as this is set on a hillside, but the views are also amazing !!

This is a hidden ( not really very well) gem that is worth a visit. Absolutely fascinating place and the work that is going on to renovate is awesome. If you don't like steps or have any sort of mobility restrictions then this is not really the place for you.If you enjoyed I'm a celeb that was here is 2021 then it's also worth a visit to see the set and displays.Would like to visit again in a few years just to see what's changed as the plans look amazing

Visited on 15/09/23, all the staff/volunteers were friendly and very, very helpful. Due to having mobility problems was told could park closer to the castle. An amazing historic place. Plenty of benches around the grounds to sit and rest or take in the beautiful views. Not all areas are accessible if you have mobility problems, some steps are quite big and steep or uneven. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Gwrych CastleAbergele, WalesThis was a fun castle to explore. Free parking and reasonable admission. There weren't a ton of people here which was nice as the previous castle we went to had a ton of people there. This imposing castle is perched on a hillside offering great views of the land below and the water beyond. Most of the castle is in ruins but there are a few rooms that have survived. There's even one small part where you can rent a room. It's a self guided tour so you can walk around as you want but it helps that there's a suggested loop. It really felt like something right out of a movie although they did film a season of the show I'm a celebrity
