I come here on March 2021 from non-English speaking country with my family. Both my daughters have to go other school since Moor Green doesn't have a space for one of my daughter. The teacher there wasn't so keen enough to pay attention to them, and other kids were harsh. New terms came and there are placement for both of my children at Moor Green. I wasn't having high expectation prior to previous school experience. But after a year, I can say that I am very happy and grateful with the school and teachers. Teacher are so nice, they didn't have prejudice and treat each kids as an individual. I can see my kids growing so much they become brave, confident, well behave, good in social skills and not to mention good on the academic side as well. They really enjoy going to school and make a lot of good friends as all kids enjoy each other company. They also have anti-bully policies which make the kids support each other if bullying happen. I would like to say thank you for all the teacher, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart and hopefully my kids will enjoy the rest of their school years with Moor Green and proud to be the alumni.

We home schooled our daughter to give her a child centered education and we felt being born in August, she was too young to start full-time education straight away. Half way into the reception year she would have been placed in, we felt she was ready and decided she would benefit from being in a school with a larger social circle. I compared Moor Green Primary Academy with another local primary school and decided on Moor Green Primary as they are a lot more focused on the making learning an engaging and interactive experience. They show genuine care of the children and their well-being and our views as parents were heard and valued, both at the initial viewing and in the whole time our daughter has been attending this school nearly a year later. The school dinners are varied and nutritious, and they provide a good selection of extracurricular activities both within school time/play time and after school.I love the fact this school has it's own gardens and beautiful woodland and parkland so close by, which they use as much as they can to enhance the learning experience. The staff work extremely hard and are passionate about providing the best rounded education for the children hence the high rating from me. Thank you to the staff of Moor Green Academy for your dedication!

I have two children here and we have been at the school for the last five years. It keeps going from strength to strength and have some of the top SAT scores in the country! A thriving forest school, local and regional school trips and wraparound care are some of the newest developments as the staff are constantly looking for new ways to build the school around the community’s needs.

My daughter recently started this school (Y3) and she is very happy here. Receptionists are very helpful. Her class teacher is very professional. The school is organised well & has a fantastic new library. The homework that is given is printed and inserted into the childs homework book with the due date clearly stated. Also I like the fact that the children's reading record has a list of frequently used words. Overall, I am very pleased with this school.

Our girls have flourished at Moor Green Primary School and loved the teachers and staff. We always feel our girls are safe and cared for. When our daughter broke her leg the staff were amazing and it never became an issue for our daughter. We really feel the teachers know our girls and treat them as individuals. The teachers are always honest with us and listen to any concerns we have.We highly recommend the school.

My son is in the last week of his year in Reception at Moor Green. Today, he visited forest school, toasted marshmallows over the campfire and drank hot chocolate. Later on, he visited the Ice Cream Van parked in the playground (courtesy of the PTA as an end of term treat) where all pupils and staff were given a free ice cream! #livingthechildhooddreamIt would be difficult to compare Moor Green to any other school in the area, they have free range chickens (who roam around their very own spacious ‘chicken courtyard’ waiting for the pupils to come and feed them), mud kitchens galore, a vast playground (with 2 wooden adventure play areas) to the rear of the building and lots of green open space to the front. There is also an incredible Forest School complete with eco-room and a large secluded woodland area which even has a badger set! They also have direct access to the school allotment plot at Dad’s Lane allotments. As a boisterous 5 year old, the play led approach to learning means that my son has thrived during his first year at school. The staff & teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and approachable, and there is also a great sense of community. I can’t recommend this school highly enough, my daughter is due to start the new Nursery in September and I can’t wait for her to be a part of the lovely environment. If you have any reservations about this school, pay it a visit and prepare to have your mind changed!

Good school and proactive teachers. My daughters loved going to school here. Made many friends and they improved a lot within short period of time. Totally different from when they were at their old school.

Moor Green Primary Academy has proved to be an exceptional school with excellent staff and leadership. My daughters are now in Reception and year 2 and both have not only shown amazing progress but are also happy and well taken care of. They are also challenged and motivated on a daily basis which, I believe, is one of the reasons they absolutely love going to school.Moor Green school is well organised with multiple activities running on a regular basis such as forest school, extra curricular activities, school trips and many wonderful events organised by the dedicated PTA team and parents. Thanks Moor Green Primary, its been a good few years!

I'm writing this just as my son gets ready for his very last day in KS1 and is about to say farewell to the wonderful teachers he's had so far.The entire school environment is nurturing and dedicated to seeing children succeed, without forgetting that they need to actually enjoy learning.Forest school. Chickens. Fun school trips. An active PTA. A flourishing school community. Children of many nationalities who are naturally accepting of differences, and work and play fantastically together. So so many things to list about how brilliant my son and I think this school is.If you're considering sending your child here, do go and have a good look around. See for yourself how great it is!
