Lovely woods, excellent place to find lots of different mushrooms. There are cute fairy doors hidden around the forest in trees too :)

Great cosy little place. Superb for dogs..lots of paths leading to other parts of Poringland. Lots of shade.

A beautiful little strole to stretch the legs. Bring wellies as it can get very muddy. Lovely place for dogs and children, please bring your poop bags for your puppers. One dog poop bin and a general rubbish bin at the entrance. Lots of fairy doors to find. A very small car park so please be careful.

Great place to stretch your legs. Nice walk for young children lots to see and some huge pine trees to look at. Would recommend a look.

Poringland Woods
Poringland Woods is small, if you keep to the boundary's, you can make a circuit in 30 mins. The game keeper had been known to ask people to keep their dogs on a lead, but this seems to be only when you are crossing into the fielded areas. Which are not part of Poringland Woods. There is only one dog poop bin, right at the start of your walk. Small car park, not paved, so will get muddy/potholes. No toilets for humans, lots of trees for dogs.

Ample off road parking with dog poo bins at the start. Well marked tracks with options for different routes. Lovely place to visit and strange to be so quiet and natural in the middle of a built up area. Lovely little secret gem.

Enjoyable place for a short dog walk. Small carpark area with one dog poop bin, nice atmosphere popular with dog walkers.
