Bev and the team were amazing, from the initial quote to the job itself. They worked quickly, efficiently and were honestly very good fun to have around.They did a great job however; as soon as something is not quite right you don’t get much of a response.I have decking slats that have risen, some cracked and I have been chasing since the start of June, being advised that they will pop over, or they will call… I have even asked them to come back and look at doing fake turf and help with a problematic fence issue which may or may not be down to the decking, but was happy to pay for help for it to be fixed… my parents even requested a quote which they never went back to…. I was initially so happy with them however the service after they have completed their work, if there any issues isn’t quite up to scratch.I really hoped it wouldn’t have to come to this, but after several messages on facebook, texts and comments on your advertising Facebook posts asking for you to come back to me.. I feel this my only option. I’m disappointed it’s come to this. I’m now sourcing other companies to come and help.

Bev and his team came recommended from a friend who's garden they had transformed to a very high standard.They were polite, professional and reasonablly priced. My garden was a mess but now its absolutely stunning. I couldnt be happier with the result. 10/10

We had a new lawn, 3x6m decking, decking lighting, a raised shed base, planters and paving done by Herbert’s. They also put up the shed we bought. We are really happy with the results, it’s just the modern/simple finish we were looking for.They finished in less than 2 weeks. Kept us updated along the way and were easily contactable via Facebook messenger. They gave us a quality finish at a really reasonable price.They seem like nice chaps too.

Our garden was transformed by Bev and his team laying down a porcelain patio and artificial grass to replace a garden that had seen better days. Within a week of initial contact the job was complete. Very friendly and professional team and would definitely recommend and use again.

I was incredibly impressed with every stage of the process when i employed Herbert's Garden Solutions to lay a porcelain patio and a retaining wall of railway sleepers in my small back garden.Communication between us was clear and they responded promptly to messages. Bev was punctual and trustworthy. Unfortunately having the patio laid occurred during a family crisis but I was so confident in Bev I was happy to give him my house key for the week and let him crack on while I wasn't around.The job was completed on time (which was remarkably quickly) and with the minimum of disruption to us. Everything was left tidy at the end. The finish of the patio was superb with great attention to detail.Herbert's Garden Solutions have completely transformed my scruffy unusable garden and created a wonderful outdoor space where I am pleased to entertain friends and family. I'm so pleased with the patio and would employ the company again with the utmost pleasure.

Bev and his team removed a bank in my back garden, put up a retaining wall of sleepers and laid composite decking. I can’t recommend them enough! We’re over the moon with the end result! They’re a really reliable team and are extremely thorough. If you need any landscaping or decking work definitely get in touch with them! We would 100% use them again in the future.

We agreed a price and the work was almost completed before lockdown, so Bev could not get hold of the equipment needed to complete the work. He said he would leave his cement mixer as a guarantee that he would be back and asked me to pay him because he would struggle for money being self-employed and unable to work due to the virus. So I paid in full, thinking I was being a good employee. Then a hire company came for “his” cement mixer and I realised I’d been had over. Once he could get hold of the equipment he needed, he promised to come back to finish off on 3 separate occasions but did not turn up and he would not take my calls and did not answer any of my many text messages. Eventually I had to go to his house to speak to him. He did come back and finish the fencing but although he said he would come back to fix the grouting that was missing in the patio and fix a loose slab, I’ve not heard from him again. Very unreliable and untrustworthy, so make sure you don’t part with any money until you are completely satisfied with the work
