Lovely place stayed here 4 times now and will be back for a 5th+ visits. June is lovely and really helpful and friendly. As a family we love it here. Highly recommend it if looking for somewhere reasonably priced with as a couple or with the family. Lovely selection of cottages.

We had a very comfortable few days here. It's very quiet apart from the bleating of sheep in the distance. The views are fantastic as is the location. The water pressure is amazing and the shower is great. Very enjoyable visit

Absolutely beautiful. Stayed with my friends family and the owners even gave my partner a lift to the wedding venue when he was stuck trying to find a taxi. Amazing views. Could do with a few more mirrors, but we were all getting ready for a wedding so needed more than average.

Lovely owner very happy and nice. Very quiet location and lovely location. The bullring cottage what we stayed in was suitable for our needs. It had everything we needed and a nice size lounge dining area and kitchen. The only downside is it needs a little updating ie the heating and soft furnishings. June the owner did ask if we were warm enough I explained that we were but!!! She told me that they were updating heating very soon. I will go back again when I am over in Lanchester. Thanks for the stay.

A generously sized holiday cottage at a price you cannot argue with. Somewhat remote, but if you're looking here you most likely see that as a huge plus. We had an issue with one of the showers on the last few days that went unresolved, however this didn't impact our experience too much.

Been here four times with my grandchildren absolutely fantastic the owners June and Harry are really lovely and make you feel very welcome. Our visit this time we had the lovely Easter weather which made it even more enjoyable.

Fantastic stay! Picturesque scenery, right from the front room.The Daisy cottage is a huge 3 bed with a large, wide kitchen, and an open plan living room and dining room - having breakfast near the huge french windows in the morning sun was lovely.We made the most of the comfy couches, electric fire place, and complimentary bottle of wine on the evening and it was just the weekend away.Couldn't have asked for a better welcome and there was a tonne of stuff to keep us busy during the day, we settled on fishing at Derwent Reservoir.Recommend highly! :)

It's a self-catering cottage, so service is not included obviously. The rooms are nice, the location is beautiful with views over a valley. The only negative is the bedroom windows that are not blinded so you are awake when the sun gets up.
