Puddle Ducks Dorset

My son started with Puddleducks when he was just 7 weeks old and he loved it. We both did. It is a very special time for you both to bond. My son is now 5 and the reason I'm leaving a review now is something Jane, the franchisee, said to me that has haunted me ever since and other Mums have said that I should have made it clear how hurtful it was and it's such a shame that we stayed with Puddleducks until we moved to Salisbury when my son was nearly 1 (Puddleducks wasn't available there) and all of the amazing memories of the lessons are overshadowed by the 1 comment that Jane made. We had lessons on a Wednesday with Jane as our teacher and on our last lesson before I went back to work I thanked Jane for all her patience, told her how much we loved it and said we were changing to Saturday lessons (so a different teacher) because I was going back to work. She looked at me very shocked and said immediately That's a bit soon isn't it." I had to go back to work even though my son was only 4 months old and I was lucky enough to have my Mum coming to stay with us 4 days a week while I was working to look after him to enable me to return to work. To say that to a new Mum who really didn't want to go back to work was pretty disgusting and really upset me at the time and every time I think about our swimming in Dorset

Puddleducks swimming program is great! The sessions are full of fun activities centred around learning to swim and water safety. Lots of songs too which my 2 and 4 year old love. The teachers are amazing and well trained. There are lots of different classes for different ages and abilities too, we love Puddleducks and would highly recommend them.

Both my children have been taught by Jane and her team since they were babies. They love their lessons, they are fun and challenging and we all look forward to our weekly lessons. Cannot recommend Puddle Ducks Dorset enough.

We have been swimming with Puddle Ducks Dorset since my son was 4 months old, he is now 2. Our teacher is amazing, she has really helped my son develop and gain confidence in the swimming pool. He is at his happiest in the water. I definitely recommend Puddle Ducks Dorset, as the classes are structured for development but also have an element of fun which makes it enjoyable for everyone.

A brilliant team of supportive, encouraging and enthusiastic swim teachers. My once nervous child now dives into the pool. Her confidence has grown each week. Thank you for helping her to be brave and have a go.

Fantastic swimming classes. The team have been great during our time with them so far. Kirsty and Lisa are both excellent teachers and have helped both with aquanatal and with our little ones progressions so far. Thank you Puddle Ducks!

We've been taking our son to Puddle Ducks swimming lessons since he was four months old, and they are absolutely brilliant, teaching them so many important skills. We especially love our teacher Lisa at Portfield School, she's always so friendly and fun! Thank you Lisa!

I have been taking my daughter to puddle ducks Dorset since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 1 and is very confident in the water and loves her lessons every week with her daddy.

We have been swimming consistently with Puddle Ducks for over 5 years now. That says it all! My sons swimming skills have always been excellent for his age due to the skill and knowledge of the instructors. The best thing about this swim school is that they don’t teach swimming with armbands or floats attached to the children which I think makes a huge difference to their ability and confidence. The team are also absolutely lovely and approachable!

Puddleducks is a brilliant teaching program! My son is 3 and can swim a small distance on his own already. My only issue is my daughter has been on the waiting list for the same Sunday morning for a year. Otherwise highly recommended!
