Absolutely fantastic service from Michael and Graeme. I wanted a rental car for 5 days to travel around Scotland. Because I'm under 25, every other rental company were charging extortionate fees! Not only did I get mine for really cheap, but Graeme upgraded me to a BMW 2 Series 4 absolutely free of charge! My deposit was returned to me swiftly and I'm thrilled with the whole experience.Thank you SO much for helping make our trip unforgettable. We will definitely return!

Our experience was great, even though we didn't end up getting the car we first signed up for, we really enjoyed our upgrade and had a great trip! Everything worked smoothly and staff was very nice and quick with answering questions. Pick up and drop off also worked great and without any issues. The car itself was also in great condition and very easy to drive - also on the famously more narrow scottish roads. Thanks for the amazing experience. We'd definitely book again with you. :)

Car as described long wait to pick up ,they were very busy. And on the day had an irate customer complaining about delay ironically making pickup slower. Nice staff ,love Scottish people.

Honestly, ECR’s service and pricing was SUPERB. I was renting as a young driver (23) and their prices were not only by FAR the cheapest of any ‘young driver’ options but were even cheaper than many normal (26+) hire options. The car was practically brand new and much better than expected for the price (we were given an automatic without asking for one). Brilliant way to start our trip around the Highlands, and will definitely hire from them again if the chance arises.Don’t be sketched out by the slightly b-tec website, just give them a call. This is the place to go. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

I appreciated the fact that they rent cars for young people (as I am 21), without having expensive prices like their competitors.I was also really happy to have been upgraded in the car because we had a beautiful Volkswagen that was really enjoyable to drive and that had a lot of space. So I also felt that they trusted me even if I was a young driver.Finally, everybody in the car rental place was really nice with us, but I think that Scottish people are so nice in general haha.So I really had a very good experience with them and if I do again a road trip in Scotland I will not hesitate to contact them.

We both thoroughly appreciate our experience with Edinburgh Car Rental. The MINI Countryman S was absolutely perfect for the North Coast 500’s winding, mountainous roads - it really became a third member of the trip. Being able to hire the car we wanted made such a difference for our road-trip holiday. The customer experience was excellent, too.

Excellent rental experience. Car in perfect conditions, smooth pick-up and drop-off, fast and clear communications and payments. Another world compared to big rental companies, which typically have no one you can talk to.

My car hire experience was fantastic!! Hands down the best I've had. I had a lot of trouble finding a good price for a car because I am only 22. I reached out to several companies and they were quite pricey with the young driver cost (most were an additional 40ish pounds a day). But Edinburgh Car rental with the extra young driver fee was the same price as the other companies were WITHOUT the extra young driver fee.Because it was cheap in comparison with other companies, I did not have the highest expectations to be honest. But the service was exceptional. Very flexible with pick-up and return times (we were getting in and leaving at very odd hours, but they made it work easily). Our points of contact, Michael and Graeme, were great with communication. They would respond to emails within minutes. The payment method felt very safe and secure as well, which I really appreciated.We got the Toyota Aygo Automatic car, and loved it! The car was very dependable and comfortable. I'm 6ft tall so I don't always have the best time in small cars, but this one had tons of leg room. It isn't the speediest car, so if that is important to you, a larger car would probably be better. but we drove from Edinburgh up to Isle of Skye and back and it was perfect for that journey.Again, can't recommend enough!Best,Erin England & Morgan Graziadeip.s. we named our car Nessie, so if you get her, please carry on that legacy.
