in a class called BABY BALLET, for preschool children aged 3+, you would assume that the class would take into account that there would be 3 year olds present. you would also assume that the class purpose was to introduce the small children to the structure, teachers, music and other children that they would be progressing with in the years ahead. instead, miss lauren informed us (in front of my child and her class, their parents and the next class of children and parents) that she did her own thing and so wasn't welcome back until she could follow instruction. it was her first time. how someone who claims to teach in any capacity, let alone small children could look to the child instead of themselves for lack of engagement i do not understand. as someone who teachs preschool children and as a parent i am appalled and I would not recommend this studio to anyone. just to emphasise - this was my 3 year old child's first time meeting this teacher and these children and attending a class, surely she is not the only one.
