F Emerson Memorials (Emersons) (our new name is Mindful Memorials)

Big thanks to Sharon and the rest of the team at Emersons. We are so pleased with the headstone for my Mum which was recently installed at York Cemetery. Their assistance in the design process and fantastic craftsmanship has created a fitting tribute which we will treasure.

When my gran passed away she asked mum to visit our family graves weekly and take good care of them. As mum's health began to fail she was unable to manage to uphold her promise and it was upsetting her when she saw them that the memorials soon began to show their age. I thought that they were beyond rescuing when I visited them but someone in the churchyard suggested I get a quote from Emerson's to renovate them. I am so glad I did. For a very reasonable price they restored them to near new condition. They were helpful every step of the way, warning me when they were going to collect them and notifying me when they were back. Nothing was too much trouble. They really did under-promise and over deliver. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Sharon and the great team you have behind you. Keep up the good work! When I last visited the graves I saw a little white feather and I am sure that is my gran's way of letting me know she is pleased with us. :-)

After losing a loved one dealing with funeral arrangements is one of the most difficult things you may ever have to face. Making decisions on music, poems and headstones can be daunting and upsetting but not when using Emerson’s for the headstone. Sharon has been an absolute professional helping guide me through this process and I can’t sing her praises highly enough. As I was replacing an existing headstone I had the worry of getting wording right to honour both my grandparents and my dad. Sharon listened to what I wanted and helped me every step of the way and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. A huge thank you to Sharon and the workshop for making my ideas a lovely reality. So pleased with our recent order from Emerson Memorials. We were given lots of helpful advice and ideas when designing my late husbands headstone, which we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, with updates regularly to let us know how things were going.It was finished much earlier than expected. The writing, stone and artwork all came together and looks amazing, we've had so many lovely compliments. We loved it so much that we asked if they were able to restore our little boys headstone which is nearly 30 years old. That has also been brought back to how it was, really beautiful, both standing on new bases, they both look so smart, a fitting tribute to two special people.So a really big Thankyou to all at Emmersons for their hard work and the support they gave us at a difficult time.

My parents passed away in Australia, but wanted to return home to be laid to rest, not having any experience with this situation, Sharon from Emersons was the most amazing help to me. Everything was on track, then covid-19 hit Australia and travel had to be postponed, however Sharon and the team remained so patient and understanding. The final result was the most amazing stone, and something that I know my parent's would have loved. I can't recommend this company highly enough, and when the craziness that is covid ends, I will be asking them to renovate our old family headstones.

Amazing restoration of my Mum's headstone which needed a good clean, the lettering repainted and reset on a new base after 45 years. We were stunned by how beautiful it was, it literally looks like new. Thank you Sharon and everyone involved, I couldn't be more pleased.
