Sports Direct

Terrible service...non existence. If I could give this a zero star I would. Hardley any customers in the shop on a midday on Monday. No-one around to help. When you find someone they have an attitude and then dissappear. I wonder how much business this store loses because of the useless staff hired to run the place. Real shame. Will take my business from now on.

Worst experience ever , The worker keeps yelling at all customers and to us also very loudly. We are not sure this is how a customer is treated at a branded shop like sports direct.This to me looks like a racial discrimination.Didnt expect this kind and we had dropped off all the items selected and waste of time . Worst customer service. The incharge person was just watching this scene. Location Newbury park Sports direct.

I have been coming to this store for many years and I am given 5 stars mainly for Harris who works there, he has always been exceptional in his customer service and knowledge of the best equipment for my children, from sporting items to casual wear he knows what works well for each requirement and my children always like his recommendations. He is a real asset to this company, always gives a service with a smile and never the sales pitch to take my money.

The line at the tills were very long with only one girl working. I asked her if anyone was available to help her? As she was dealing with a lengthy return. The girl replied “I think someone is at the front”I approached 2 employees by the stairs, doing nothing but chatting to each other. I asked them - “the girl at the tills is all alone and the line has backed up with customers is there anyway one of you can help?”The staff member out right said “no” I was so shocked I walked off. Then took a second to gather my thoughts and went back to him and asked to speak with the manger? Where he replied “I am the manager and no one tells me how to run my store”On the way out the man was mocking me by waving and being overly happy / sarcastic.Shocking behaviour and a true embarrassment for the store.I will NEVER be back!

I walked in at 7:55 and closing time was 8pm. I approached a staff member called Amir who quickly helped me and showed great enthusiasm and a high level of customer service right at the end of the day.

Very poor experience. Too little staff, they end up juggling customers and making the service rubbish. Trainers on the wall that they can’t find the matching pair, they tell you to wait in the queue as they ‘find’ them but when you get to the counter it’s up to the poor ‘cashier’ to tell you the problem, it was a waste of time queueing. I’m buying elsewhere now.

Terrible service. U have to wait for hours to try to get a worker to find your shoes size. Always no workers in shoes department. Waited sooo long many times n left without buying because my children started crying, as ridiculously too long wait.

Products are great but no staff available for customers on the floor just one staff member was available for all customers.Only staff member tried his best but it's impossible to satisfy all customers,So be careful store is good but we have to wait for staff not for few minutes it's more than 10 to 15 minutes than again 10 to 15 minutes .I can understand the position of staff it's not easy to handle all customers alone.

This place is getting worse and worse…Customer service equals to zero, the ladies are prioritising their chatting over their customers.Finding anything is a challenge and when you are in a queue for the till funny enough it’s never your turn as apparently people who aren’t even in the queue were before you.I will most definitely never come back!

Clean store. Almost all items on their places, not like some others SD. Maybe not biggest choice of clothing but still ok. Prices are ok. Quality ok.One star less as not many bigger size clothes.
